售。鉴于iPad此前在美国等其他国家的火爆销售情况，业界曾预期加国也将迎来消费者
大排长龙的热捧情形。不料，记者今晨探访列治文lansdown mall发现，实际情况令人
大跌眼镜——负责经销iPad的future shop门前冷落，截至今晨8点40分，只有6名消费
者排队等待。
据悉，该店一共备有283台iPad，未料预想的排队热售场面根本是“镜花水月”。
店内的一名销售员指，或许上个长周末，部分消费者已前往美国，“先购为快”，
是导致今日该店销售冷落的原因之一。
早前，苹果公司发言人班纳特(Christopher Bennett)曾建议消费者早早去排队，
且透露部分店家为应付排队长龙，会安排工作人员在店铺开门前一个小时先开票。

从去年开始，有关中国的稀土的新闻一直喧嚣尘上，以至于稀土对于全世界各个角落的
中国人都不再陌生，关注和投资与稀土矿业有关的股民日渐增多。中国拥有世界稀土资
源探明储量的37%却占世界稀土产量的97%说明了一个问题，即中国一直在贱卖稀土资源
。连“稀”土都可以贱卖，其他资源就可想而知。以这种方式支撑的中国经济快速发展
，其可持续性可能在许多人头脑中都会有一个很大的问号。作为对比，俺在本节先谈谈
美国关于土的教训。
说美国的土，得从大萧条说起。在现下的经济背景中，没听说过大萧条的人不多，但知
道土与大萧条有关的国人恐怕是相当少。关于大萧条的时期，有些资料认为起始于1929
年10月华尔街股市暴跌，到1936年基本结束。另外一种观点则视1929到1939的十年为大
萧条时代。从下面的图显示的美国 1910-1960的GDP和失业率来看，俺暂且以十年说为
准。
伴随着美国经济大萧条的十年，美国的农业经历了历史上最黑暗的，跟土有直接关系的

次Review就有Reasonable Chance。
张律师说很好可以上。 然后我就找了张律师事务所。 提交时有12次Review。
140 已经批了，无RFE。 具体经办律师是Bennett Wisniewski，
我对他各个方面都很满意。
张律师比刘要贵一千块（EB-1A）。
运气很重要，对于版上大多数EB-1A的申请人来说，没有任何一个律师可
以打保票说一定会通过。估计刘说Reasonable Chance你的背景就已
经不错了。
我看版上有很多人背景不错但是被RFE，估计是材料包装上的问题，
也可能是碰上IO心情不好。
而且你要知道，材料还是要自己发掘，自己准备，不要指望找了律师你就
万事大吉了。但是律师在你准备材料时会给你一些非常有用的指导。 我
的Petition Letter是律师写的，简洁明了，用词精确，我的英文水平
是达不到的。 |

然后说低于60% 机会的他们不接。
然后我找了张律师，他手下的那个Bennett Wisniewski经办的，递交时13次
审稿 -- 还是没达到刘的要求啊。 我运气好，批了。
你有fair chance,应该成功率真的有80%以上了。

Gregg, Snowe, Spector这三位是所谓的东北部的共和党.
Mccain和Kyl来自非法移民偷渡入境最猖獗的Arozina.很有意思,两人都支持.这次那个
八人帮的Flake也是来自Arizona.
Lott and Luger (10年初选被击败)都是70年代当选的议员,属于那种传统派,为了总统
和党的利益忍辱负重投票的.
Hagel就是现在的国防部长.这哥们当时就是个异类.在伊拉克问题上和布什唱反调.另外
他决定08年退休.所以估计按照良心投得.
Craig就是当年在MN机场被警察钓鱼的说他招男妓的主.也是要退休的.所以估计没有压
力.
Bennett (UT)我觉得应该是传统的GOP,给总统个面子.
Graham就不说了,8人帮里的.
反对的基本上南部的.这里面我最奇怪的是Maine Collins没有投票支持.可能是因为她

来利益，你就拿不到钱来选举。如果你不听党的话，你就没法到那些powerful的委员会
里任职，给你的金主捞钱。而且被选下去，或退休后，不和党保持一致，没有人脉，就
很难到DC做说客捞钱。另外当年的earmark什么的都是用来买票的。这就是为什么，议
员们当选前都要change DC.到了DC,就是DC change他们了。
只是2010年以后，共和党的初选把这一切都改变了。初选里极右来挑战，使得议员们不
敢再get hands dirty了。当senator Lugar,senator Bennett初选被击败后，那个刺激
力度是很大的。特别是lugar的败选，在过去是无法想象的。
想当年，议员们选举时候，都会说你看，这什么，什么的都是我从DC弄回来的。现在，
如果议员这么说，马上就给扣上了DC insider的帽子。

人数是多少呢？

如果要用新加坡人口反驳，那么按照美国人口是新加坡60倍计算，新加坡中学也至少
该有3、4位诺奖得主了吧？ 其实如果一个国家教育体制好的话，人口根本不是问题，
新加坡人口5.3m，瑞典9.5m，瑞典培养出多少诺奖得主呢？30位！奥地利、瑞士这些多
新加坡几m的国家也都培养出20多位诺奖。挪威、丹麦和新加坡人口一样的，也培养出
10多位了。
星加坡就是个培养二流人才的地方，还有啥好说的。

I would like to visit her at hotel and stay with her for a night. However
the parking is so expensive for overnight. I was told it is that price for
