check, physical test, education check...after my H1B get approved, and
beofore I start my job.
How about you? I saw a lot of people can start working right after H1B is
approved, they have done with all checks during the H1B processing?
Do you know how long it takes to finish all checks?

If the lab has been set up for more than one year, then it is probably
alright because all the system should be working now. Otherwise, you
will bump into a lot of trouble. That is what happened to the friend I
mentioned. His postdoc boss has some nice publications beofore but
unfortunately has no clue to conduct research independently and
he wasted two years in his lab doing a lot of blind research that end up

solved the prblem finally.

I am sure you can get it done.
I spent a long time to try different ways. You only need to try the way I
that worked for me. I spent more than a year. I think you only need to spend
a month or two.

and I have to spend 2/3 of this time on laoer (still single mom), and 0.5 to
1hr on dinner
so no time for him
he reads on his own and if I can put laoer down before 9, i spent around 20
mins with him on reading or silly play
