因为工作原因，想把condo 临时转租。从11月租到3月，可根据需要协商租的时间长短

房子大概700-800 sqft，三面有窗，房间厨房朝南。一室一厅， 还带有一个小房间。
小房间朝北，有窗，但没有设门，装有门帘。适合做办公室，小孩房，或者客房。家具
齐全，可拎包入住。一个卫生间，但设两扇门，方便客人主卧通行。所以几乎像是两室

罪有应得。在美国阿拉巴马州就有一个死刑犯名为Doyle，他因为家庭原因从小性格孤
僻，是一个怪胎。在他长大的时候去抢劫而杀害了一个执法人员从而入狱。可是这次的
案件有三个人，其他俩个人为了逃避责任而把责任大部分都推脱到了Doyle身上，因此
最后只有Doyle一个人受到了死刑，他在监狱里待了三十年，直到很多年后一个律师出
现了叫Bernard，起初Bernard只是一个小律师，想接管Doyle的案子来增加自己的经验
，可没想到他为Doyle的案子奔波了24年。Bernard像法院提供了很多关于Doyle身体健
康状况不能接受注射死亡的证明，可是法院不受理给驳回了，法院认为Doyle可以执行
死刑。那一天到来了，执行死刑的人员在Doyle身上扎了很多针都没有找到静脉，因为

bernald完全没有loop,有很强的self awareness, self consciousness. 我以为西部世
界讲的就是个host追求，演化到self awareness, self consciousness. 这个Bernard

1970年代早期，多数中国科学家，在文化大革命中努力生存而无机会开展研究。两位年
轻的研究者屠呦呦和张亭栋，分别在发现抗疟新药青蒿素和揭示砒霜化学成分三氧化二
砷对白血病的治疗作用的过程中起了关键作用。回顾四十年前开始的历程，不乏曲折和
反讽。青蒿素工作源于中国帮助越南抵抗美国，三氧化二砷源于观察、验证和改进乡村
中医的实践。虽然他们的药物挽救了世界上很多生命，两位研究者迄今未获国内外充分
肯定，屠呦呦有争议、张亭栋基本默默无闻。相关的文献埋没于冷僻的杂志和一般不易
看到的内部会议资料。基于原始中文论文、文件和采访，我们在此呈现这些发现的历史
概貌。没有逃脱我们的注意，在古代和近现代中文文献及医疗实践中，可能还有尚待重
新发现的珍宝。
