it's bertuzzi's weight.
bertuzzi acutally is a very shy, somewhat childish person. sometimes we refer
him to a lion with rabbit's heart, just like the young lion in lion king.
he could've been a super soccer star, were he to grow up in italy. |

Canucks' Bertuzzi suspended indefinitely
NEW YORK - Vancouver Canucks forward Todd Bertuzzi has been suspended
indefinitely, without pay, after being assessed a Match penalty for
deliberate injury of Colorado Avalanche forward Steve Moore during NHL
Game #1028 Monday night.
The penalty was assessed at 8:41 of the third period.
A hearing will be conducted Wednesday at 9 a.m., ET, at the League's Toronto office.

Even in boxing, you aren't suppose to punch a guy from behind on the head and

Plus, Vancouver's headcoach, Marc Crawford, was actually smiling when he
saw Bertuzzi committed all this crime! I don't know what a NHL coach's

suspended too. This guy is disgusting. He not only wasn't
stopping his players but standing there smiling, watching
an unconcious Steve Moore laying in a pool of blood. And his
postgame comments were unacceptable. "it's unfortunate."
What's meaning of unfortunate? Didn't you know Bertuzzi will
retailiate Moore beforehand? Did you see May taunting Abby
twice in 2nd period. Those classless actions were not stopped,

Bertuzzi simply hit Moore from blindside deliberately and drove his
face to the ice. I don't think Shaq can sustain such abusement.

league. My MVP. Canucks are going to finish the wild tonight. Final would be
Vancouver Vs Sens. Too bad flyers lost. They are the only team that have a

I probably would pick blues but we all see, the Naslund-Bertuzzi
line is clicking now, who knows what will happen when these two
are on fire.
Home ice does not seem to be an advantage for the canucks all year
long. They're better on the road.
MacInnis injure will hurt blues, now they'll count on Pronger to give
120% on defensive side. Goaltending, I would say a tie. Cloutier is
inconsistent at times but last night he did make some super saves.

come on, be realistic. plus canucks are primarily an one-line team,
did they get much production from their 2nd and 3rd line? I don't see
any chance they could be in Stanley Cup finals, if they could handle

offense: 看似 vancouver 强不少，其实不然。
top-line Naslund=Gaborik, Bertuzzi整个series如同梦游。second-line
sedin 二兄弟虽是identical twins,却鲜见精妙配合，就好像昨天的一个
PP, 两人不停的换位，wild队员纹丝不动，连解说都说，两个twins换来
换去 make 啥difference?
defense: vancouver也不像想象的那么差，尤其是考虑了每场的PK时间那么多，
defensemen 其实也不是很糟糕。特别是Jovanovski和Orlund还能提供
不少offensive的支持。canucks这场关键就是减少PIM,少给Wild open
look, wild队员普遍个人能力有限(除了Gaborik),他们靠的就是 open
look 的shot.

Jarome Iginla, he is very impressive and consistent, bad thing he could not go
to a playoff team. He would still be very good this season.
Joe Thornton,getting older and slower...
Peter Forsberg, he replaced Joe Sakic as the QB of the whole Avs team. The way
he handles and passes puck, I don't see any one else better than him.
Todd Bertuzzi, big and strong guy, not that skillful, I doubt his performance
this year.

bertuzzi-iginla-sakic line is too powerful for italy to handle.
brodeur was not in top shape for sure, but considering the fatigue and jetlag,
I don't want to draw any conclusion this early yet.
czech led by jagr is the only concern for canada in round robin stage. but the
schedule really works for canadians. they will meet czech in the last, so hope
they will be in their best shape to kick czech's asses. |

than nucks at season start.
it's true they lost pronger and peca, but nucks lost jovo and bertuzzi,
and almost the entire defense was rebuilt.
the GM of oilers should definitely be fired, what a bunch of wusses. |
