a billing rate of $200 per hour.意思是你每年要为firm赚2000×200＝400k？还是
firm每年给你400k？
如果是前者，那么当我们比较firm的billing hour requirement的时候，也应该考虑
billing rate吧？为什么大家都只说billing hour 1700, 1900呢？
再说firm为什么不直接定一个要求说：你每年必须至少为firm赚$xxxx.xx,而说什么
billing hour at billing rate...? |

billable 是相对于non billable来讲的，给某个客户干活的都是billable时间，你如
果写memo花了5个小时，你就有5个小时的billable，当然人partner不见得把5个小时都
bill了，bill出去的时间叫billed，bill出去的钱和能收回来的钱又会有出入。如果2
个小时的活你做5个小时，不影响billable，但影响你的效率（efficiency），你可以
完成billable，但efficiency很低。
有的所是按billed来要求的，这样的所新手真的没法活。所以建议大家找工作问一下每
个所你们的hour究竟是billable还是billed，billable应该是主流。
nonbillable是不给客户干活的时候，比如你吃饭，参加seminar，各种happy hour，
party，面试candidate，拉客户，以及两个project直接转换的时间等等，这个是为什
么完成8个billable hour要上班超过8小时的原因。

充钱。有些问题不明白，想请教一下。
1. 通常所说的bill pay是特指BOA，还是说其他也可以，比如Chase
2. 假设CL有1000， 通过bill pay转进去1000（即 负1000 balance),那当天购物可以
接近2000吗？我自己觉得好像有的信用卡可以，有的好像不允许，仍然不准超过1000CL
。不知道对不对？
3. 单指红卡的bill pay（其他的信用卡不管，CL足够）。我尝试了一下BOA bill pay,
没敢走完全部。
Add a pay to account: 应该选“pay a comapany”,还是“pay an individual”？我
觉得应该选“pay an individual”,然后加名字, account no(信用卡号？）,city/
state/zip code等等。这些好像都是必填的。
可我感觉神医bill pay的时候，好像不需要这么多信息，所以怕走错了，没敢继续下去。

事情经过：
23号联系spdfgh 交易5个dyson v6 absolute, 价格是360 each总额1800，6/26号收到
bill pay截屏显示是1800一笔的。7.3号delivered今天查账发现被分成了4笔bill pay
分别是三笔487.05跟一笔338.85的小额bill pay.
发信过去问spdfg，他回复的原话是“这次billpay是找版上神医换的 刚跟他核实了一
下的确是green point做的 据他说一直这样做 没有问题 我再核实一下这个是不是有风
险 ”。他还说第一个bill pay截图 1800一笔的是用他公司帐号做的。我问spdfgh为什
么要取消了再找别人用Green dot 做billpay他没有正面回答。我还问了该神医的id他

citi是我的主要银行，我用的是"Regular Checking"(刚才还特别为你登陆，看了state
ment，就是这个名字)，据我过去三年使用经验，citi没有因为bill pay奖励过我什么,
否则早注意到了。
如果说有些银行鼓励bill pay据我印象都是为了吸引你使用它这种服务，我猜想或许这
样你把大部分（未来bill pay的）钱会先存到它家(总之以他家为主)，但我感觉这样的
鼓励有两个特征：1。通常是临时的；长期奖励的话,银行必然吃亏。当然有些与其说鼓
励，不如说是不做的惩罚，比如我最近open的一个rewards checking，要qualify它家
的high interest要求之一就是每个月要有一次Bill pay。2.更主要的是，这种bill
pay都是has nothing to do with your payment amount的。银行要的只是唤起你对这
个服务的注意，跟你额度大小并不相关.
最后，我也非常希望pay bill能有油水，特别是每个月Pay给信用卡公司, AT&T那么多

我现在是暑假短租在同学的家里，Utility Bill全不是我的名字，然后家里也没有装电
话没有Phone Bill。Citi要求提交本人Phone Bill，或非本人Phone Bill+本人银行账
单，再或本人Utility Bill，我现在撑死只能拿出非本人Utility Bill+本人银行账单

发帖数: 473 | 31 最近netspend 和 brinks 在版上很火。用netspend的5% 又一阵子了。最近想把利息倒
出来的时候发现它家提供bill pay.而且这个bill pay可以用来付信用卡帐单，并且这
个是免费的。叫 Automatic Payments & eChecks。
这个bill pay和其它家的bill pay 不一样。好像是银行ACH pull netspend.
那么问题来了。可以用这个方法来充钱进netspend 然后 bill pay 完成一个MS周期。
弱点是好像不是所有的银行都认netspend. 有信用卡的银行目前我所知道的是chase,
discover认，citi, amex,fia 不认。
有前辈们试过么，好用么。其他银行呢，boa，wells fargo啊等等的认么？另外这种
bill pay的方式pay别人（netspend和信用卡银行不是同一个名字）会有危险么？

发帖数: 1117 | 39 在我眼里都一样，说说而已，绝保通不过。但是好奇为什么这个bill产生这么大的反响
呢？其实之前的bill，比如Issa bill, HR392之类的也有讨论，不过还算比较学术，比
较理性，可能大家都知道不可能通过。这个bill通过的概率其实更低。我能想到两个原
因为什么这个bill这么火：
1. 涉及到了亲属移民，所以媒体开始跟进了。以前的bill都是关于H1B的，美国人民根
本就不在乎
2. EB1和EB3停了，EB2在我眼里和停也没有太大差别，所以人们无聊了，把无限的精力
都发泄在这些有限的移民改革法案上了…… |

Do not take for granted that KU is supposed to be Big 12 champion (or close
to champion) each year. Look at Bill Self's achievement in Illinois. When he
was there, Illinois was Big Ten regular season champions (or close to
champion), and many years top 1 and 2 seeds in NCAA. People may take it for
granted. Now look at Illinois, having trouble entering the NCAA !! In 2005,
Illinois entered national final, many of the players are recruited by Bill
Self.
