恐同反同的一方， 這如這篇博文講的， 也許基督徒贏了文化戰爭中的幾個

美国众议院星期四经过表决，通过了共和党有关废除和取代部分奥巴马医保法的议案。
参议院六个星期前曾就废除取代奥巴马医保法案的议案进行辩论，但因共和党议员
内部分歧未能表决。 星期三，共和党议员对原先的议案进行修改，同意增加80亿美元
的拨款，用于帮助那样有既有病史的人。
两位著名的温和派共和党议员弗雷德·阿普顿和比利·朗在白宫与川普总统就修正
款进行谈判之后，改变立场，对共和党的医保法案表示支持。
阿普顿议员的转变尤其重要， 因为他对医保改革的看法很受尊重， 而且他还是众
议院前能源和商业委员会的前主席。
非党派的国会预算局（CBO）曾预测，如果新医保法案的较早版本成为法律，数百
万美国人就会失去医保。共和党议员戴维·布拉特星期四被问到他是否担心这些失去医
保的美国人会付不起医药费。

I have known Jeff Sessions for a long time. In 1994, he was running for
Alabama attorney general, and I was running for the congressional seat
presently occupied by Mo Brooks. Jeff and I, then, were on the same GOP
ticket in my congressional district, and we showed up at times on the same
stump. He won, and I lost. Out of 50,000 votes cast in the primary, I came

我孩子不到三岁，15个月因为发育滞后开始接受EI治疗，18个月时EI机构严重怀疑自闭
，排队几个月后21个月在美国top5的权威儿童医院拿到经典自闭的诊断之后一直接受强
度很大的各种训练。。我不常来逛这个坛子，因为我家孩子让我担心的地方，和这里家
长们通常讨论的东西，根本搭不上边。。大家在讨论怎么推娃，上什么兴趣班的时候，
我担忧的是怎么以后能够让娃生活自理，自立而不拖累这个社会，怎么学会和人交流（
说话都是其次的），奢侈点的想法是，怎么主流化，怎么能够自己有一个somewhat
meaningful的生活，父母离开人世的时候，也能让孩子可以有尊严的活着。我们这样家
庭的种种challenge，不是常人能够理解的，我也从没有奢望过普通父母能体会我们的
痛苦。。。但是看到了最近的热贴，有些id对我们这些可怜的家庭们的各种不太善意的
猜测，非常震惊。当然，也同时看到很多general ed， gifted ed的家长们的同情和爱
心，和让人温暖感动的话，在这里也想替我们这些家庭，谢谢你们的支持。

不少有关军事狙击史的著作里都会提到那个在第一次世界大战中杀敌人数最多的狙击手
，他来自澳大利亚，名字叫Billy Sing，全名William Edward Sing。他得过大英帝国
杰出行为勋章(Distinguished Conduct Medal，DCM) 以及比利时政府颁发的战争十字
勋章(Croix de Guerre) 。仅在加里波利战役不到四个月的时间里，他经证实的狙杀记
录为150名土耳其官兵，如包括未经证实的则为201名。连奥斯曼帝国近卫军里最优秀的
狙击手也死在了他的枪口下。他的家乡人民于1995年为他建造了塑像，此后每年的澳新
