发帖数: 36 | 12 楼主感兴趣的话可以看看UCSF Jonathan Weissman实验室，听说他们实验室根据cas9搞
的cas9a（activation)和cas9i (repression)效果还不错，暂时主要应用在genomic
screen上。我觉得以后用来做真核的synthetic biology非常好。同样在UCSF 的
Wendell Lim前一阵子把一些基本的基因调控原件应用在免疫细胞里面，效果还不错，
以后基于synthetic biology的基因治疗可能也有很好的发展....
搬到mit的james colins 也很好。
纯从转录调控说，个人感觉e coli 和 yeast 差别不是特别大，从 yeast 到其他的真
和模式生物差别非常大。虽然yeast同样有histone,但是对转录调控的影响比较简单。
在yeast里大概影响转录调控的variables都了解的差不多了，直接manipulate这些
variables的工具也相对齐全。在其他真核系统里，定量的研究感觉上还都是停留在对
一个gene的特定promoter的研究，从这个gene上发现的规律放到其他gene上面基本... 阅读全帖 |

2. SCIENCE是绝对可以讨论生物问题的地方，我刚就任BF时，就搞了个
投票，看看来光顾的网友中学生物的有多少，结果是不比学物理的少。
可是遗憾的是，好象并没有太多的同行愿意在这里讨论问题，所以满板
看去都是物理问题，给人造成这样的假象，显得生物声音比较小。
但不能说本板不接纳，不适合讨论生物问题。
3. 我认为本板是有包容性的，一切与science有关，大家感兴趣的话题，
都可以提出来讨论。那“于科学的发展不利”这顶大帽子来规定什么该
讨论，什么不该讨论，恐怕不大好吧。BBS本来就是个大家自由交流的场所，
没必要搞得那么严肃吧，即使是在讨论科学问题。
4. 由于本人功课比较忙，人也比较懒，science的板务做得很不够，但希望得到
学生物的同行的支持，在science板创造出一个良好的讨论环境。
对于建BIOLOGY板，我双手赞成，但我也同意HANZO斑竹的观点：不希望某个版面
的产生是建立在诋毁另一个版面的基础上的。 |
