发帖数: 947 | 1 移民局USCIS通知美国律师协会AILA他们已经建立了一个新的biometrics appointment
schedule 系统。使用此新系统，申请人的biometrics appointment预约时间将由USCIS来
安排，而再不需通过打电话到NCSC来预约。但是申请人必须收集起对于不同申请所进行的
biometrics appointment所得结果。例如，I-485和I-765所进行的biometrics
appointment是分开的，但在同时提交I-485和I-765申请时，其两者的biometrics
appointment数据需一同提交。据了解，AILA已经向USCIS提出是否可改善此系统以使所有
的biometrics appointments能一次完成，而无需分开进行。而对于此，USCIS正努力寻求
有效的解决方法。

写信给TSC了，问为什么我收到biometrics的通知等。。。OIS 得到TSC的如下回复：
"No biometrics is needed for this case. This case is still pending; you
should receive a notice or decision within 30 days."
请问， 这样的话，我还需要做预约做指纹吗？ TSC 系统里是不是还会一直显示他们正
等我的biometrics结果呢？ 网上一直都是review，而且自从OIS收到如上回之后， 我
也没看到有latest update date...
可以再打次电话加急吗？9月1日要开始上班了。。。 |

发帖数: 135 | 7 EB-2, PD 02/2007, 2007 年大潮时LD和我一起递了485. 大潮485 先由CSC 发了
receipts, 隔了几个月, 转到了TSC.
2011年7月1日current, 7月11 日收到e-mail, 说我们的 I-485已经approve, 网上
状态是'Post Decision Activity'. 几天以后, 收到两人的I-797, Approval Notice.
可是, 网上状态始终没有变成 "Card Production" , 又等了两个礼拜, 也没有收到
绿卡. 于是, 7月下旬, 打电话给USCIS, 问 2nd Tier officer, 被告知, Card
production 就是没有order, 要满30天之后, 才可做SR 查询.
我们在网上做了Research, 有MITBBS, 也有老印的网站, 发现我们很可能不幸的进
入了所谓的"死循环", 即, 我们的biometric information TSC看不到, 所以没有办法

事情是这样的: 下一年公司的保险要换，给了一些discount（数额还不小），但是要求
做Biometrics screening和Health check，如果不做的话就没有Discount，但不影响
plan。
我查了一下，biometrics screening好像是检查遗传信息（不确定，比如癌症和糖尿病
等）。我的担心是一旦做了这样的检查以后，是不是保险公司能够根据情况调整保费或
者拒保？而且这样的信息一旦有了，估计一生都是如此了，是不是很危险？
BTW:好像美国是全球最大的biometrics information provider。 |

Before your application can be expedited you need to complete your
biometrics. As soon as you receive your notice you can try going to your
local USCIS office to see if they would take your biometrics sooner. You
need to provide proof for your emergency situation. When your biometrics are
complete and if you wish to resubmit your request, it must be accompanied
by a detailed explanation of the situation in a one-page support letter

or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an
Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or biometrics taken
. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants
ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment.
我记得是efilling 需要biometrics and fingerprints。。 通过mail的 也需要采集
这些吗？

approved even before I got my biometrics appointment letter. USCIS still
scheduled me for biometrics appoinment but I guess it is not important any

Jan 21 - Package (I-130/I-485/I-131/I-765) mailed to Chicago.
Jan 22 - USCIS received a package.
Jan 27 - E-notification for all 4 forms.
Jan 29 - Checks cashed
Jan 31 - Notification for all 4 forms received by mail. Case transferred to
NBC.

我看有人说网上状态不准，有人拿到EAD卡但是网上状态依然initial review.
所以我今天早上就打了个电话过去，对方电话里问我有没有提供biometrics，就说要按
指纹，我说我从来没有听说过需要这个东西，对方说你需要，然后说30天内会给我寄什
么表格之类的。。。
天哪。。。我该怎么办？我不打电话没有要这个，打了电话反而要了？我这算不算自己打过去要了一个？
我准备下周就搬到另外一个城市想先安顿下来，新的博后工作的老板，难道我还要回来
到指定的地点按指纹？
大家说说我该怎么办？这个biometrics还要拖我多久？我是不是干脆现在申请H1B，如
果老板同意的话？

我刚才还给uscis电话了，接线员问我是efile还是邮件寄申请，还问我提交申请的时候
提供2个照片了没有，我都说提供照片了而且是邮件寄过去申请的，。。。然后她就说
按道理是不用biometrics的，她说要把我情况告诉TSC，然后等TSC回复。。。
真倒霉。。。
如果最后不能取消。。。不知道什么时候能做指纹，这个很快就能做好吧。。。做了指
纹以后提供给TSC之后，他们一般多久才会审理opt并通过呢？ |

到卡，今天uscis网站上面的状态再次变为card production，很奇怪，我就给他们打了
个电话，二级客服查了下说是biometrics出问题了，然后让我hold去弄个biometrics
appointment，结果我等着等着电话就挂了，可能是那边六点到了，就一直打不通电话
了。
各位有什么建议？公司一直催着上班，再不去offer可能就要收回了，真是倒霉啊，求

可是去年11月底打过指纹了。难道是说指纹质量不够好，要重打？当时按指纹的时候是
费了半天劲，有几个指头按了好多次:(
重打的话非要等ASC notice么，还是walk in就好了？
另外，biometrics除了指照相和指纹还有别的么？ |

I decided to do a walk-in to day at St Louis ASC.
The staff members are very nice at the center. The security check point took
2 mins.
The Biometrics procedure took 4 min and 20 sec.
The center is virtually empty.

我和LD的485是同一天批的，目前只有我的卡收到了，LD的网上状态一直是post
decision activity，一个周了都没有变。另外我在收到绿卡前一天收到了welcome
notice，但是LD收到的是approval notice，内容如下:
The above application has been approved. Prior to receiving your permanent
resident card you may be required to report for biometrics processing (photo
/fingerprint/signature). Please do not take any action at this time. If you
are required to report for this processing, you will receive another notice
advising you of the date, time and location to appear.

到。查了网上关于14岁以下孩子biometrics的，各种说法都有。我们的情况是只申请
485，没有申请EAD/AP，小孩是否还需要去拍照和打食指？特别想请有类似情况并拿到

小孩的名字，放了纸条让先确认是否也接收我小孩名字的邮件（邮递员可能觉得这个邮
件比较重要，以前我们也收过孩子的其他邮件）。孩子Biometrics的日子和我们的还不
