After combing through low-flyer biotechs for over one year, I am convinced
that the two very best biotechs under $3/share are: BioSante Pharmaceuticals

音，直接挂电话。剩下85%一听就是国女口音，你可以和她们谈科学，也可以和她们谈
人生。
从今年7月开始吧，我摸出规律只要是周三，五晚9：00到1点打给X公司，接线员就有很
大的可能性是国女Jessica Lin。我一开始就是妆模作样问她一些antibody return的事
情。后来有一次有个抗体总不work，E-mail电话来去多了，有一天Jessica突然问我Can
you speak Chinese.我愣了一下，说good good,就直接中文聊上了。她后来说跟我说
英文太费劲了儿了。
后来反正就撩嗤上了，问她今天吃了什么，去哪儿玩儿之类的，有时候拿还讲些黄段子
。有一次我告诉她，配老鼠头一天晚上，把公老鼠笼子母老鼠笼子放一块儿让它们私密
聊天，第二天交配又快又好。她愣一会儿然后就很尴尬地把话题拐回来，可好玩了。

80-90%的机会要招一个有机合成背景的研究生做暑期实习，为期2-3个月。希望是第三
年以上，有较强的全合成或者方法学背景，可以实习期间独立完成一个小合成项目。
国际学生实习可以用CPT。但一般PhD学生在暑假期间老板大多期望在实验室做课题，所
以最好能够得到老板的支持。现在制药行业给有机方面的新人机会相对比较少，这样的
实习机会对于准备以后进入这个方向的同学会有一些帮助。一是了解工业界的做事方式
，药物开发的具体流程，同时也有助于积累一些人脉。有这样的经历在简历上对以后找
制药相关工作应该会有好处。
如果最终决定设立这个位置（主要的问题是现在实验室地方不大够），广告会在3月发
出来。现在发这个帖子主要是希望有兴趣的同学提前做些准备（包括和老板的沟通）。

上周面的Sr. Scientist in Missouri，Biotech大公司。HR今天来电话谈工资，当时没
接着，准备明天打电话。
面试时，HR说给的是lower 60k。我光知道那个州消费啥的都较低，但这个价位还真的
越过我的心理承受能力了。我应该问多少合适些？
原来是等着绿卡，故只好在现在这个公司耗着。现在是不用再担心身份的问题，不知是
不是该这么着把自己卖了，先过去再找其他工作？还是跟现在这个公司再耗一阵子？但

工业界面试机会。求经验。。求祝福。。
有卡，有两篇10分的文章。 彻底不想呆学术界，也根本没有能力呆下去，因为没有大
牛作靠山。 下个月有一个工业界面试机会，刚拿到面试详细流程表，有点犯晕，心中
非常忐忑，第一次工业界onsite。如果最后拿到Offer, 一定会来回来回馈本版。
首先，拿到这个硕果仅存的面试机会 可能 归功于三点：一有卡，二背景吻合，三有
内部推荐。
下面开始请教问题了，有劳过来人多多指教，谢谢：
１）公司面试，一般是三挑一，还是二挑一？闯进面试这一关，后面的胜算到底取决于
什么？推荐信什么的ＨＭ已经索取过了（这个位置也是以research为主所以要了推荐信
）。我个人的语言水平估计只能中等，连偏上都不敢说了，呵呵。作presentation/

本人在SD一家Biotech公司（500人左右）工作。最近组里在招 next generation
sequencing 方面的人。主要是做统计分析，clinical diagnostic方面的工作。
要求统计，数学背景好，有Programming (R/Perl/sql), data mining 方面的经验。最
好是处理过sequencing data，有hands-on experience的。
待遇还可以，fresh phd 起薪 95K左右 + bonus + stock （当然没法跟AMFLG比。。）
。有工作经验的会更高些。

，合适的职位很少，网投以后一般也杳无音讯。前两天收了一封拒信，还让我激动了好
半天，觉得人家终于记得我了！
今天又收了一封拒信，心情一下子郁闷了，我觉得这个职位和我很合适，以为至少能
有一个电面的。。。唉，心情down了一天，来这里看看大家朝气蓬勃的样子，又舒服了
一点。。。准备收拾情绪重新上路了，时间也越来越少了，4月份再找不到工作，自己
也不知道自己的未来在哪里了。
最后，请问这里有没有medical device/biotech/pharmaceutical 公司的朋友们可以
