不是很理解，展开说说。他列这两项出来，就是为了说，C10M
不是单单保持 TCP 连接就可以了，应该用一定的流量。而且也不应该
是全部大的 jumbo frame， 应该有小的数据包。因为中断处理的问题，
一般的 kernel 网络处理的时候，10G 只有大的数据包才行，受到
packet rate 的限制。 Robert 对 packet rate 提出要求，就是说
平均包大小再 1K 左右，不是全部 jumbo frame。 我觉得很合理啊。
你觉得这个放一起有很大问题吗？我觉得这个是 Insight，针对以前
10G 网卡单单 bitrate 的测试说的。你觉得思考什么地方不透彻了？

如果<300kbps，那除非是动画那样的大量同色色块，否则哪种
压缩法都是没法接受的（这个范围是rm的优势区。300kbps的
动画rm效果就很不错了）
300－600kbps我觉得MPEG1和MPEG4差不多的烂，都是很多马赛
克。不过超过600kbps的话MPEG4就好得很明显了。900kpbs以
上的MPEG4压缩得好的效果真可以说接近MPEG2
对了，有没有用动态码率差别也很大的，所以原问题问得很不
恰当。 |

由于制作DVDrip的流程较为复杂，需要用到的工具软件也较多，因此事先应该做好准
备工作，以免正式开工时手忙脚乱。
1、电脑硬件及工具软件的准备
制作DVDrip需要的工具软件：
文件拷贝软件——SmartRipper
计算视频流码率软件——Advanced DivX Bitrate Calc！
视频部分制作软件——FlasK MPEG或Xmpeg

最终合成软件——NanDUB

2、复制VOB文件至硬盘
从DVD盘片中复制.vob文件至硬盘，是最为关键的准备工作，复制质量的好坏将直接
影响到最终输出的DVDrip效果。
打开DVD根目录，可以看到这里面有两个子目录：AUDIO_TS与VIDEO_TS。AUDIO_TS中
没有任何内容，DVD的所有信息都存放在VIDEO_TS目录中。这个目录包含了.vob、.ifo和.
bup等三种类型的文件。
其中VOB文件用来保存MPEG-2格式的影音数据，这些数据不仅包含影片本身内容，还
包含了菜单和按钮等画面，以及多种字幕的子画面流。而IFO则用于控制VOB文件的播 |

Depends on what kind of digital format you are talking.
D1 and D5 are not compressed.
For consumer format such as miniDV. It is compressed. However,you
can output through firewire(IEEE1394) card. It is usually better than
output through analog video+audio port and redigitize them through your
computer's capture card.
miniDV NTSC is 4:1:1,miniDV PAL is 4:2:0. So it is easy to calculate
whether it is compressed or not.

testbench 中需要用到random bit generator, vsource 或isource 都行, 要可变
bitrate.

Some APs are implemented by "PCF" function, this is
a mechanism that AP's waiting/sensing time (PCF time) is
shorter that that of a user node (DCF time), doesn't mean
it can control UL/DL capacity/bitrate. |

这两个的latency不一样，有些应用对延时有要求，所以不能一概而论。

MPEG-4 version 2以后不断扩充，studio profile可以看成mpeg-2的替代。
scalable profile and main profile仍然面对low bitrate同时也是MPEG-1的替代品，
并且强调scalable(temproal and spatial)streaming profile针对streaming media传
输。
至于encoder/decoder,我不认为一方是固定的，OD,BIFS,MUX这些是固定的
但是里面的codec是可以定义的，甚至可以用自己的plug-in,而且在mpeg-J(java)
出现后，灵活性更大了。
另外，mpeg-4和jpeg2000和H.26X开发保持协作关系，其中很多算法定义
都有一定的重叠性，针对得引用目标领域有差异而已。mpeg-4采用了wavelet
algorithm,其他遍准也采用了。这个在mpeg-4一个BIFS的例子里面可以看到
专门比较了wavelet vs. DCT效果。所以我相信motion-jpeg2k肯定还是有新东西的。
