than 1,000 blackbirds to die and fall from the sky over an Arkansas town.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said Saturday that it began receiving
reports about the dead birds about 11:30 p.m. the previous night. The birds
fell over a 1-mile area of Beebe, and an aerial survey indicated that no

这是我第三次去杭州。恕我直言，我觉得杭州盛名之下，其实难副——请别砸砖（当然
要砸我也挡不住）——也不是说它不好；其实一个依山伴水的城市还是不错的。但说什
么“上有天堂、下有苏杭”是有点过了（这可能是史上延续时间最长的广告操作）。究
其原因，文化（很多古代名人在这里造过句，还一度是偏安之都）原因大于实际的审美
原因。呵呵，就此打住。
至于拍鸟，我居然没有斩获一只新鸟。究其原因，是因为一则我们就是跟着拥挤的人流
沿湖走了一圈，没有专门去看鸟拍鸟；二则，这是我第二次回故国拍鸟（之前的很多次
是在我拍鸟之前），一些常见鸟已经拍过了。
拍得最多的是一只（？好象是一对）夜鹭，它（们）显然要开始筑巢繁殖了，沿着湖飞
来飞去，我拍了很多张飞行的照片，效果还不错！
以下是一只Light-vented Bulbul (白頭鵯)，大江南北都很常见的一种鸟，但我觉得蛮
