is an open question.
If it is the case, then any optimization tenique only makes sense after you
giving out the proper assumptions. For example, make the assumptions such as
the blackbox function is continuous, the function is unimodal etc. before
talking about binary search.

可能的数据去测试,来找到问题, white box就是知道code, 从code中找问题, 比如哪段

surely i will not get you wrong. we improve from a discussion like this.
for blackbox, it does a decent job on clean, but is really really terrible
on od/ds. and since clean is mostly the guitar's true sound, i guess my ame
std strat is the biggest contributor here. :) the tone is simply guitar=>
blackbox=>cooledit.
the buzz is due to my technique and the low action on guitar. but thanks for
your advice, i am still learning how to use EQs...
