劫案发生于11月25日早上8时左右。一名52岁的男子正欲在位于央街(Yonge St.)11000号的一处皇家银行自动柜员机上存钱时，一名蒙面劫匪突然出现，并用一把手枪威胁他交出一定数目的现金。当这名男受害人显得犹豫时，歹徒却不知何故两手空空的溜之大吉，令到事主一场虚惊。
约克区警方提醒经常需要在银行储存较大额现金的商户，注意在存钱之前时对周围环境保持警惕，若感觉有可疑人物或车辆，就立即离开，并将情况报告警方。
此外，最好不要在同一家银行的同一个时间有规律的存钱，以防止劫匪掌握你的行踪，同时最好选择结伴同行，以策安全。
一旦遇到劫匪，首先要顺从其要求，不要反抗，并清楚记下其容貌和一切特征，以便事后报告警方。
据警方提供资料，该名男性劫匪(见图)为白人﹐身高5呎10吋﹐体重接近240磅，案发时戴只露眼部的黑色面罩﹐穿蓝色连体衣及黑色靴。

网友们的这个接力分析很辛苦，很用力，是群体智慧的结晶。
真相很给力。
谣言的问题在于，制造和传播太简单了，而分析和治理相对成本要高的多，即使被戳破
也能过段时间重新拿出来继续骗，这个骗不了，还可以去骗另外一个，反正总能找到自
己的土壤。
所以眼下只能指望志愿者义工们出来，找些典型谣言文来戳破，警告那些智商较低，总
是习惯性上当受骗进而义愤填膺或跟着种族自虐的小笨蛋。从这个意义上来讲，故意埋
藏破绽地雷的钓鱼文，起到的其实就是疫苗免疫针之用。

致关重要的；
——有现成的除颤器，除颤——目击者除颤！！
尽管美国的消防队员、警察都要经过心肺复苏培训后才能上岗，尽管各大国际机场都摆
