过年吃吃喝喝，酒足饭饱以后当然要读书，而且要读有趣的书。这里就是一本适合这样
场合的书，《Black Opera》，且听我慢慢道来……
前一阵子去图书馆晃悠，在科幻部看见一本书《Black Opera》，看见封面觉得很好奇
，就随手翻了起来，结果三页之内就被hook上了，欲罢不能。作者Mary Gentle，我不
是特别熟悉，反正也不是很重要，关键是读书，而不是去研究作者生平。
有一类科幻叫做Alternate History，还是非常大的一个科幻sub-genre。不知道国内这
类书翻译成什么，暂且就叫做另类历史吧。就是说，基本上是历史题材，但是改动很少
的几个关键的地方，其他的部分都按照原有的历史设定。例如，假定在十九世纪的英国
，巴贝奇的差分机成功了，结果在蒸汽机时代就有了蒸汽驱动的计算机，当然，这个
sub-genre就是steampunk了。或者，在拿破仑战争时代，还是英国给法国打仗，但是，
那个时代的人都骑着龙打仗，飞龙已经成功地被驯服，成为战马一样的战争工具。这类
科幻，其实是一种玄幻，有时候真真假假，历史和玄幻相结合，读起来还是非常有意思
的。

场看过去，dock上没几个人，估计是下雨没人来(星期六可是每一米左右就有一根杆子)
。没准备钓到鱼，只拿了杆子挂了两个假饵。到了dock一看，我的妈呀，一地的black
drum，估计三四十条！都是被一个家伙钓的。没有其他人钓鱼了。我上去告诉他这些
black drum一天只能拿五条，把他下了一大跳。没多久就离开了，分了很多给旁边看钓
鱼的老墨。
我用假饵上了不少trout，其中有一条speckled trout。扔了n多不够10inch的white
trout（white trout 没有limit）。期间居然上了一条black drum（16.5"），上钩时
我还以为是条大trout，但是很快就知道不是trout，因为fighting不像是trout，拉上
来发现是black drum。没见别人用假饵钓过这种鱼（通常用虾），如有哪位牛人知道
black drum专钓的假饵，敬请指教 |

前两年别的rose有black spots的时候，eden没有
（我们很少给花园喷药）
自从LD从别处移植了一棵rose（有black spots但prune到很矮）给eden做邻居
（后悔啊，当时完全出于landscape的考虑）
eden就跟black spots拼上了，不断剪掉不断生病
现在把那些感染的枝叶剪掉然后喷药，可以抑制传染么？
看那些rose garden里植株那么密，也木有black spots，不知道人家怎么控制的 |
