我要替中国辩护，并不是因为我是一个中国人，而是因为我知道中国就和这世界上绝大
数的国家一样，虽然有很多丑陋的现象，但是他们是受害者。就
象这个犯罪集团里很多的人一样，他们来自各种种族，他们可能充当了工具，但他们不
是制造这一切，谋划这一切的人。虽然经常会暴露中国产品出现问题。但要知道中国是
世界工厂，他们只是打工者，他们只是按照各种雇主提供的配方来生产，他们并不知道
他们会产生怎样的后果。或者这些工人知道后果，但他们只是奴隶，他们又如何去改变
这一切？ 所以，当我的调查不断往前推进的时候，不可避免地会涉及各国的企业，但

拿菲律宾来说，菲律宾是一个犯罪猖獗的国家，有很多犯罪分子，但是菲律宾人民却是

个晚上。由于有了丈母娘的鼎力相助看小孩，我每个晚上都有了打poker
的机会。白天也打过两三次短的sessions.
在local玩poker, 主要是打2/5NL，水平是基本能在local casino存活
下来。有时为了等桌子，有时也打1/2NL。有时觉得1/2NL反而不好打，
bet多了没人跟，slow play就会被bust。所以到vegas之后，我准备只
玩2/5。谁知计划赶不上变化，我只打了一个session的2/5，其余时间
都在玩1/2。觉得2/5的经验还是对玩好1/2有帮助的。
这次总共获利大概2.5K，其中1k是从2/5上得来的。想想看，还是2/5
的效率高，只玩了一次，却占了2/5的效益。这就是为什么我偏爱2/5
胜过1/2. 但经验告诉我们赢多快就会输多快, 除非你的Poker水平高
过你同桌的水平。为了减轻打2/5的压力，也为了陪老婆玩，我们就一
块在1/2桌子上并肩作战直到来开vegas.

Small blind拿了 ，
Under gun (第一个位置，枪口位置)扔了，后面有2人limp in，上把打得紧的选手
raise到30，cutoff上的 deep stake靠，button（按钮位置，最后的位置）扔了，到你。
先估计一下对手的持牌范围。打得紧的选手什么牌会 raise到30呢，应该不会是AJ，更
可能的是AA，KK，QQ，AK，遭遇了哪个都够你受的。即使他是对J，对10，对9，你也略
落下风。
而且你进来了，很可能招来4个对手。另外两个很可能因为你靠call 了他们也靠，如果
你中了A或者Q，去和4个对手打，凶多吉少。在这4个对手中，有2个是超过1000的，和
你差不多多。如果你靠了，锅底在120-150之间，SPR对这两个 deep stake 是8，对你
不利。同时你还要注意会不会有人在等待 limp-reraise呢。
这牌虽然舍不得，但扔是对的。
这一把牌，怎么打，就是区分你是职业到还是业余的标准。在这种情况下，AQ完全不如
对5.

纽约了。那个礼拜每天早出晚归真的很累。终于到了母亲节周末，我们俩和家人约好在
拉斯维加斯度过假日。高高兴兴的去玩了～
礼拜五：
上了飞机发现没有个人的in-flight entertainment也没有wifi available这哪门子的
东部直飞西部啊？（有公司给的gogo wifi帐号所以没用到就感觉像吃了亏似的）。还
好是早上六点就呼呼大睡了。
这次住在MGM Grand。Hostess一直说renovate后怎么怎么好。还可以啦。吃完午餐不够
时间打扑克，就去当个degenerate玩table games。小小的玩。小小的赢。
跟家人吃完晚餐后去看看MGM Grand的Poker Room的小mix（6-12）。Spread的大部分是

是昨天我不小心看到了一篇新闻文章，才惊讶的发现其实最早做出来的，有可能是
Wayne State University的潘卓华。虽然他的投稿时间和Deisseroth的类似，但是因为
他是一个没有什么名气的学者，而且他的文章包装得不对，所以他的文章被百般耽误，
最后比Deisseroth的晚了一年才发表。
在2004年底潘就做出了和Deisseroth几乎一样的文章，除了用的细胞略微不同：他做的
神经细胞是从视网膜分离的，而Deisseroth 做的神经细胞是从大脑分离的。然后他把
文章陆续投向Nature, Nature Neuroscience,Journal of Neuroscience，却统统遭到
了拒稿。然后大半年之后，也就是2005年8月份，Deisseroth 的文章发表在Nature
Neuroscience上。潘得知之后，心都凉了。

俱寂和清晨各种小动物初醒的活力，那这真是最好的运动。
我喜欢用Ground Blind, 还因为方便挪窝，而且在里面动作大些也问题不大。但是，伴
随而来的是对猎手隐蔽能力的更大挑战。树架方式因为猎手在鹿的视平面上方，而且猎
手的体味都往上升，相对来说对隐蔽性要求没那么大，但是下面许多注意事项还是值得
考虑。
Gound Blind 选择：
不要买太小的，否则腾挪起来不方便，窗口应该是Shoot-thru 网，直接隔着网射击，
隐蔽性好。
里面放三脚的狩猎椅子，沙滩椅转身很不方便
猎服：
服装建议全身用伪装服。但是如果全部时间都在Ground Blind, 那只要有伪装的上衣即
可。
保暖非常非常重要。虽然现在白天的温度可以达到60多度，但是破晓前的冰点加上你没
法活动取暖会是非常寒冷的感觉！建议用UnderArmour的服装，保暖，薄而且去汗很快
，这最后一点对野外活动尤其重要。
狩猎前应该考虑洗涤衣服（包括内衣裤），如果不想投资专门的洗涤剂，可以用Arm

虽然遗憾的没见到老大，可是和众东部版友们见面，打牌，吃饭，交流，真的感觉此行

礼拜四 11/22
从礼拜二就已经进入度假模式了。去Commerce住一晚。ran bad。把上个礼拜赢的全部
输掉了。555.因为chase loss所以礼拜三很晚才回到家。睡2-3个小时。急急忙忙的整
理行李。LP说又不是去相亲。快快快,有带ID就好！
本来计划飞机上睡觉。可是最近迷上open face Chinese（2-3年前在东欧开始流行的一

ICDM一直是double blind review的。现在你搞machine learning, data mining如果不
blind review，大部分欧洲人都不会投。欧洲那边这个领域的人也很多，别人很多
group也搞得很不错的。
KDD搞了一年blind review，结果某些大牛们不爽了，所以现在又不blind review了。
你如果不double blind review的话，对很多圈子外的group很不公平，所以别人干脆就
不投了。所以submission数量和接受率肯定不能和同档次blind review的会议比了。不
光ICDM，CIKM也是double blind，比较open的。今年CIKM 2011的submission一下子就
飙升上1000了。
另外，ICDE,SIGMOD,VLDB现在主要还是数据库，data mining的大部分都还是投KDD,
ICDM,CIKM, PKDD,SDM这些。做web的现在也有WSDM,WWW,SIGIR这些别人自己的top conf
