首先，标题就错了。
这里面的“前台侍者”名字叫George Boldt。
他跟希尔顿没有半分钱关系。他是纽约华尔道夫的首任经理。
再来说文章里错误。
那对年迈的夫妻走进的旅馆是费城的Bellevue-Stratford Hotel，现在是park hyatt。
George Boldt不是前台逝者，而是酒店的owner。
他让出的倒是自己的suite，不过是把老婆孩子一起赶出去腾地方。
对了那年他40岁，不是什么“孩子”。
而且这之后Boldt和Waldorlf成了朋友。
Waldorlf盖了Waldorlf hotel之后才把他挖来做经理。

Islands千岛湖
本人打算Labor Day长周末另加9/2请一天假所以一共四天，从费城（本人住在Wayne）
出发开车沿途玩到Thousand Islands。一直对五大湖周边有山有水的 游玩比较情有独
钟，所以这次选的终点是千岛湖Thousand Islands。 沿途经过Cornell University所
在地Ithaca, 以及比较有名的Finger Lakes, the Finger Lakes area is New York's
largest wine producing region. 会安排一次品酒。终点Thousand Islands在美加边
境上，可乘坐boat tour游览湖中小岛（无需办加拿大签证），并参观有名的Boldt
Castle。
时间可以是周六8/31-9/3周二，或者周五8/30-9/2周一，只要是四天就可以，因为三天
的话会比较赶。

Alexandria Bay), hop on a boat and go! Do not worry about border crossing as
it does not matter (because you are on a US boat which is legally US territory
). Most boat tours are 1 to 2 hours. Take the first boat to the Boldt Castle,
where you get off the boat and tour the castle. Then you decide when to take
the second boat to return to the ferry. There is really nothing to worry about

另外，那里只有holiday in express,没有holiday inn
对某些人来说这个还是有差别的
外面漂亮，在船上都
看到了，里面很多房间都破破的还没有维修。个人觉得不推荐。我梦想中的漂亮的城堡

刚刚花了6天沿着安大略湖玩了一圈。从波士顿出发，往返1500英里。
考虑到家里有小朋友，最好3小时以内停留一次，在网上搜了一圈，
确定了下列目标适合小朋友：
Howe Cavern in Howe Cave, NY
Museum of Glass in Corning, NY
National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY
Niagara Falls, ON, Canada
African Lion Safari in Hamilton, ON, Canada
CN Tower, Toronto
Main Street in Unionville, ON, Canada
Fort Henry in Kingston, ON, Canada
Thousand Islands in Alexandria Bay, NY
Circle B Ranch in Friends Lake, NY
由于胃口太大，旅游计划一改再改，从5天延至6天，还是没有完成全部目标。

发帖数: 2530 | 12 独立日加拿大9日自驾1800miles上周日归来。本人家离Buffalo3小时车程。
行程供参考，LD赞这次行程这么排很合理，玩得也爽。
DAY 0: 5pm drive to Toronto arrive at 10pm, 280 miles，fort erie的peace
bridge过境，排队10分钟。
DAY 1: Toronto
DAY 2: drive to Ottawa, 400 km,4个小时，傍晚游玩ottawa
DAY 3: ottawa游玩至下午2点，drive to Quebec city, 450km, 4个半小时，7点到达
魁北克城，晚上魁北克，赶上加拿大国庆烟花。
DAY 4:暴走魁北克。
DAY 5：继续暴走魁北克。傍晚5点多去魁北克城北边15分钟车程的Montmorency Falls
，还不错。6点多赶往Montreal, 280km花3个小时。
DAY 6: 先开车游玩了皇家山，St Joseph, 奥运会斜塔，下午返回downtown停车以后逛
old montreal, 一顿暴走。
