TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — In achievement-oriented Taiwan, where studying is a
pastime sport among young people, the outdoor complex of basketball courts
near National Taiwan University is normally a pretty lonely place, more used
to hosting raindrops and discarded food wrappers than pivoting feet and
jump shots.
All that is starting to change as the island of 23 million people enters its
fourth week of Linsanity, the worldwide phenomeno... 阅读全帖

下面是我自己摘录的一些highlight, 核心理念:分享。
* That was morally wrong, he thought; the knowledge contained in it (often
obtained with public funding, after all) had to be made available, free, to
everyone.
* At 12 or 13—a plump, bookish boy with a computer-company executive for a

Once a child buttonholded me complaining that I confused him sometimes. He
told me that those "big bookish words" I used are out of his comprehension
limit. After the 8 year old boy questioned my communication quality I have
been very careful with the words I choose when speaking to young children. It
appears to me we Chinese do care for sticking to grammar, reducing accent but
are reckless on using causual words. I still get frustrated from now and then
due to the ongoing "bookish talk" problem

FAREWELL, LEIGHTON STUART!
August 18, 1949
It is understandable that the date chosen for the publication of the U.S

Nanking for Washington but had not yet arrived there, since Leighton Stuart
is a symbol of the complete defeat of the U.S. policy of aggression.

I can defeat you handily if you want to

I don't mind your arrogance at all because
it won't improve your results.
If you want to know my level, I can tell
you that I routinely exploit the MMs and

You're so arrogant because you have not
