看来咱们得深入讨论一下了，这里貌似两个问题，
1. ios是不是run top of a vm on linux
2. how deep the linux is involved in ios xe
关于第一个问题，不容易找到直接答案，但是咱们可以自己找答案。首先xe里可以可以
支持virtual machine，叫做virtual-instance，mount一个ova file，这个你承认否？
如果你不承认，下面的免谈，回去做功课去。
如果承认，咱们再来看这个ova，实际上就是一个tar ball，然后mount起来，里面有自
己的filesystem等，包括目录结构。那咱们看看ios是怎么在xe里面存在的：
先登录到RP linux shell里，然后看看整体目录结构：
[r1002_RP_0:/]$ pwd
/
[r1002_RP_0:/]$ ls
auto common disk0 issu misc proc sbin tmp

来自主题: EmergingNetworking版 - 同学们，我把6500弄得boot不起来了，呵呵呵。

是这样的。
我sh bootvar看见primary和backup都没有boot选项，
就弄了一个command
boot system sup-flash:xxxx
然后重启。
后来就卡住了。
是不是sup720里面有2个，一个sh bootdisk是sh的RP，sh bootflash是sh的SP，然后
IOS只能放在RP上，catOS只能放在SP上。
我现在应该回到rommon，然后把它改成IOS从RP boot？
有没有大侠稍微给我讲一下啊？
