我朋友今天早上带着孩子去登机，准备回国，AA要求孩子（USA-borned Chinese）必须
出示visa。
然而，朋友已经在休斯敦领事馆办理了Travel Document。这是专门为父母都是中国公
民并且没有外国永久居住证的美籍华人准备的代替visa的东西。
但是，AA就是拒绝朋友和孩子登记。后来找customer service manager。对方告知，他
们只知道中国只接受美国公民的visa。
请问，有朋友碰到过类似的情况，或者能帮忙解答这个问题。
另外，今天领事馆休息。

看完这本书到现在已经有一段时间了，书是从小镇里的free public library借来的。
当时大概是暑假，图书馆正组织小孩reading什么的活动，推荐这本书。不记得是我先
看完这本书然后图书馆推荐，还是图书馆推荐然后我看这本书。对于一本好书，无所谓
这些先先后后的东西。
顾名思义，《American Born Chinese》讲的是一个ABC小孩的故事，可以说差不多基于
作者本人的人身经历。故事不是那种一条线以时间为轴的类型，而是包含着三个貌似分
开却其实骨肉相连的故事。第一个以中国神话故事里的美猴王为主角讲述了大闹天宫的
故事（记忆有点模糊，但该是没记错吧）；第二个讲了一个ABC小孩尽力想融入到周围
环境——主要就是学校了——的故事；而第三个故事以很夸张的手法描述了一个“白人
小孩”和其中国土亲戚Chin-Kee的故事。故事最后小孩对自己根文化的重新认同，没有
在美国这个white predominant的社会中迷失自己，可以算是一个happy ending吧。
