money and less injuries (live longer). He is now a football coach again.
Just for fun: Before NFL draft, he declared: if no team drafts him in the
first round, then don't bother to draft at all. 'cause he will then play for
NBA. Thus, no team drafted him.
He led FSU football to our first NC and basketball to top 8 in NCAA
Tournament. He was initially recruited as a punter by Bowden. |

但是 Beamer 能做到的就是这些啦。 他不能把你的队从 decent 带到 elite 那个档次
。 而且人的本性决定啦他不可能自动下野。 看看 Penn State 和 Florida State 就知
道啦。 Bowden 牛不牛，可是 Florida State 在他最后 5 年烂成啥样啦。 最后被逼宫
了，还不甘心， 最后还不是被炒。
JoePa 最后也将是这个下场。 可惜 PennState 啊，曾经的 PowerHouse， 现在一个打
酱油的小丑。
我们 VT 走的就是一样的路。可是我们更差，因为我们 一个 NC 都没有。 JoePa 和 B
owden 还可以晃晃手上的 戒指， 对反对的人说 “you shut the fuck up”。 可怜
Beamer 将来 下野的时候，没有可以晃的戒指。
所以说 还是 UrbanMeyer 牛，收放自如。

实际上早在92年SEC就给过FSU offer,老Bowden没乐意。
这次把FSU再召过来也行。反正每年必打的，输也好赢也好，大家都在全国挖角的，对
招生没什么实质影响
如果要开拓市场，那FSU确实不能带来什么，不过so what? 主要的市场来自于Fox和
ESPN的deal，这也不会变。

是一个有任何美好回忆的赛季，连这个版上的鳄鱼ID也越来越少了。
最近MEYER是热门话题，我们就从这个说起。BUCKEYES球迷可以为MEYER的上任而高兴，
CBS的某知名撰稿人甚至把这个聘任和Calipari 和肯德基篮球的联姻相提并论。我完全
赞成MEYER在OSU可以迎来事业的第二春。
首先看一下MEYER过去的成功记录吧。在UF之前，他在两个小学校Bowling Green和Utah
取得了成功，把两个默默无名的小球会带成了conference champion甚至BCS buster的
水准，从而在2005年成为教练人才市场上最炙手可热的明日之星。FLORIDA很幸运，正
好有了空缺，MEYER也审时度势，抓住了这个机会，在沼泽地成就了霸业，一举奠定了
NCAA超一流教练的地位。
有很多文章描写MEYER的这段奋斗史，简而言之，就是他带着两个比他还嫩的小兄弟Dan

么比下去都是A>B,B>C,C>A的死循环乐。
我说的教练实力主要是两个：
1，接手一个losing program，在最快时间内变成top program，夺冠。
2，在任期间保证这个program一直赢下去，至少每年都是实实在在的contender。
Meyer 在1上能跟saban比一比，2上差得太远。miles在2上做得不错，但也不如saban，
1上还没有这种经历。
在1和2上都不错的，我能想到的也就是BearBryant，SOS，老Bowden，Paterno。从成绩
看也只有BearBryant比saban强乐。
saban是个wsn不假，但人家的coach能力是实打实的。 |
