罗马皇帝尼禄（公元37-68年）是诗人暴君的典型代表，他虚荣、自恋并喜欢自我表现
，糟糕的统治也反映在他有缺陷的艺术上。尼禄的史官塔西陀（Tacitus）和苏维托尼
乌斯（Suetonius）认为，罗马遭受到尼禄诗歌和政策的双重折磨。嘲笑是一种解气的
报复形式，但令人困扰的问题是：如果暴君的艺术被认定是有价值的，他的罪行是否会
因此而减轻？反之，我们可以公平地判断暴君诗歌的质量吗？
如学者戈特（Ulrich Gotter）在新作《暴君作诗》中所说，与帝王诗人凯撒（Caesar

发帖数: 105 | 20 是可能的。GM的大车就是挺省油的。俺开过一辆朋友的93年的Buick Regal, 3.8L
V6，EPA是19/28，13多万迈了。来回高速320迈，平均速度75左右，没有用巡航，gas
milage 大概31 mpg, 当时的确很吃惊。俺的2.0L 98 breeze同样状况下也就34mpg左右。
查了一下，05 impala sedan的final drive ratio才2.86，而05 taurus 的final drive
ratio 是3.96，也就是说高速上相同车速下，impala的发动机转速大概只是taurus的3/4
，当然要省油得多。

去年8月25号晚上,从家里去学校的路上被抓,40的路,条子说我开了54.二话不说,一张
ticket,我一看,还是我们学校的警察,nnd,下手真狠.条子是迎面开来的
然后就去法院要求上庭,初定是11月底吧,一共要去两次,前一次递交motion,第二次
trial
谁知道我把日子记错了,递交motion那次忘记去了.第二天再去,说只能重新安排时间.于
是motion递交排到1月27号,今天trial.我对本州的speedy trial不是狠了解.由于上一
次也是我的失误,没能按原有排期,所以我也不指望靠speedy trial的trick了.
1月27号,坐在大厅里面溜溜的等了几个小时,无聊透顶,自己翻看着打官司的书.老爸非
要陪着去看看,也是无聊的坐了半天.倒是前台坐着的一个貌似intern的小姑娘clerk,她

发帖数: 59 | 22 第一次追尾,昨天晚上,是个下坡,在右侧车道跟着车流走。前面哥们一个急刹,我一见,
立马踩死,结果车还是撞了过去，基本没怎么减速。我车的airbag弹出来了,前盖开了，
漏了机油,我的车是96年烤肉啦，估计得报废了。我撞的车(plymouth的breeze)后面的
bumper后面有一个小坑,前盖打不开了. plymouth又撞到了一辆ford exploer, ford
exploer的后盖不好打开了,其他都没什么.......救护车来了之后问了每个人的情况,没
有人受伤,就开走了.警察来了之后,只是登记了我们的信息,然后一人给了一张,没有给
我ticket,只是让给保险公司打电话,把我的车拖走了,其他两辆车自己开走的.我回来后
已经给我的保险公司打了电话,他们给了我一的claim号,说adjuster会联系我.
第一次车祸,没有经验.我想问问我现在是不是就是等着adjuster的电话,去拖车场把车
拖走或直接total,还有什么需要做的?

Enterprise或者Hertz租车，也分别是Enterprise Plus和Hertz Gold Plus会员。
Enterprise是个家族全资拥有的非上市公司，整个公司运营体制比较简单和落后，而且
每个branch的管理非常集权，往往这个manager的奖金是和营业额和空lot率挂钩的。
以前在纽约周边短途出差需要从纽约租车的，我都会去Midtown Times Square或者
Great Neck这两个地方拿车。Great Neck经常会有很新很高配的车，但是价钱很firm也
不容易给免费upgrade，我经常租到只有500英里以下的Taurus之类。而在Times
Square或者曼哈顿的租车点就比较容易给free upgrade，因为他们是租用Icon Parking
或者Central Parking的地方，他们当时大车太多就很大方地给你升级，有一次我定
standard SUV，被offer每天加$15升级成Chevy Suburban fully loaded，我说这是公

车碰了只要不太夸张都不管。
