最好的，可是我的realtor说在nolensville正在建新学校，届时ravenwood high
school的区有大半划归nolensville high.规划如图：

洛杉矶地区没有最好的私立高中，只有最合适的私立高中。四所最严格私立高中是
Flintridge Prep, Pasadena Poly, Webb 和 Harvard-Westlake. 有些人可能会说最严
格的就是最好的，但对于大部分学生来说这种说法不对。对于大部分学生来说这种严格
的学校压力过大，每晚五小时的家庭作业 (脑子好使的), 加上周末，从九年级开始就
用大学程度课本。再加上2到3小时的体育训练或者演奏练习，加上社团，公共服务，和
课外活动。在申请大学的时候，大学不会因为你上一所非常难的私立学校，而对你网开
一面，反而在这里更难拿到好成绩。
最好从你所居住的周围开始咨询，因为你不会想要每天开很远的路程。就算是比较不那
么难的学校每晚也有3到4小时的家庭作业。有些学校有非常强的运动计划或者艺术计划
，所以选什么学校完全看你需要什么。不要太看中升学率，因为那主要取决与学生而不
是学校。
很多洛杉矶的天主教学校也收一部分非天主教的学生。天主教学校的费用通常只有私立

应该就算近的了. Tracy/Mountain House/Brentwood大概都需要1.5小时到SF(半小时开
车到BART). Brentwood反到不如Tracy/Mountain House. Brentwood很难到南湾和半岛.
Tracy/Mountain House大概也是1.5小时,而且价格要便宜些. |

The Bing and White Rainier Cherries are finally ready at Wolfe Ranch
Cherries.
We are opening the front half of our orchard this week. Come out Tuesday for
some peaceful weekday picking and be the first to pick in our new young
trees. The fruit is big, plentiful and absolutely beautiful.
Our parking lot is in the front for now.

我在brentwood和加州都买了房子，加州的2000尺比tn的2500都大，计量不一样。。
还有就是tn穷的可怕，普遍都是穷人，当然有钱的也有。brentwood30来万的房子，我
说的是williamson county的brentwood哈，你问一般人都是觉得贵，也没有啥工作机会
，中国人主要就是聚集在vandy。
加州不同，去看看indeed.com，每天都有新的公司的招聘，机会就是一切，尤其做it的。
刚来这里，能每天买的到新鲜的蛋挞，这个在nashville是不可想象的，当然不止蛋挞
，好多吃的。我比较注重吃。。。 |

小学是Brentwood 的所有小学和Bellevue 的harpeth valley. Green Hill 的在Mall附
近的那个也不错。
中学当然是downtown的MLK和Hume-Fogg。Brentwood high上升势头很猛。但前两个只能
在Metro area（Bellevue地区在Metro)的人可以抽签进入。Brentwood 区的high
school平均水平都很好。
Bellevue high 是很一般的高中。其他Bellevue地区high school 就比较差了。 |

经纪人的作用（1）—— 了解周边环境
看房过程中，一个好的经纪人给了我们很多重要信息，也教了我们很多。（以下
都是从经纪人那里了解到的，未必都对，刚好和同志们探讨一下。）
1，对于买公寓的同志们来说，你了解大温地区哪些开发商比较好吗？我现在会首
选BOSA的。
2，房子周边环境。我们的经纪人强调，你得知道这个房子未来会发生什么。
在我看的几个片区里面，JOYCE已经没有新的公寓楼的计划了，所以近年内“供量
”就是这么多了；有一个小学，后面会扩建。
BRENTWOOD，靠GILMORE车站那一片几栋OMA的房子，性价比比较好，可是对于喜欢
太阳的人来说，南面的VIEW实在不咋的，而北面虽然能看见雪山，也能看见墓地
（如果你不介意的话），我看的那间，楼下是联邦快递的停车场，挺丑的。最南
面的那排房子，旁边都是POWER LINE，有些人会相信，这会干扰人体的磁场。总
之，个人认为，OMA1和2的LAYOUT还不错，可是周边风景不咋的。
在BRENTWOOD MALL的西边，新盖了一个BRENTWOOD PARK，以4层的WOOD FRAME为主 |

Buying a house near UCLA is more complicated than you can every imagine. You
are limited by the budget, school district, neighborhood and distance.
Traffic in west LA is atrocious. Once or twice a month, the entire west
side gets locked up. It can take you 2 hours to drive to Culver city from
UCLA. These are my suggestions based on your budget

去年发现wastonville的草莓最好吃,而且路过101gilroy,也有u-pick樱桃的.
记住带桶水,和厚的napkin,到时候可以沾湿擦樱桃.否则樱桃都是有点小农药,直接吃回
来的路上就等着拉肚子吧.
带着sanwich, drink,和几把椅子, 树荫下还可以picnic一下. 孩子们最高兴了.特喜欢
摘樱桃摘草莓.
