这里的饮食非常有名，尽管比不上中华美食，但在西餐系列中也算别具一格。一般我们
老中舍不得银子吃大餐，但尝尝生蚝小龙虾，或者找个能负担得起的地方腐败一下，也
算不虚此行。
Bourbon St上的特点是“醉”和“疯”，酒吧和舞女表演很多。如果能enjoy这些，就
来对地方了。来看一看就知道为什么大型比赛喜欢在这里举行。输赢双方都可以尽情疯
狂，不会被警察抓（但不允许全裸和开枪）。

后来我们走I25到colorado springs. 看了garden of gods, ranger讲解很不错。7
falls看介绍觉得太商业化了，没去，旁边有个free的小公园叫cheyenne canyon park,
里有helen hunt falls, 是个picnic的好地方。pikes peak的齿轮火车是挺值得一坐
的，虽然顶上的确没什么好看的。
Denver downtown看了mint，capital hill. Golden的coors brewery tour有free beer
哦。red rocks amphitheater是我们的最爱，超大的gym，边上的山里还有鹿群呢
还是去了RMNP, aspen/maroon bells下次吧。
现已是九月底了吧，呵呵，看我的回复速度，可与刚在joke版看到的一蜗牛媲美：
乌龟受伤.让蜗牛去买药。过了2个小时.蜗牛还没回来。乌龟急了骂道:他妈的再不

1）准备开车从纽约星期一早出发，过了boston，然后路上玩玩，晚上就住在途中，请

这几处住宿旅馆便宜方便吗？
2）准备星期二及星期三晚住ACADIA/Bar Harbor。请问2天游玩公园够吗？

衣：重点要防水。
即使是7月底，气候变化还是很大。早晚冷时吐气成霜，下午热时大汗淋漓，而且时不
时会来一阵小雨。幸亏带了件Helly Hansen Anchorage Jacket，派上了大用场。有天
雨中在Denali Wonder Lake 附近的McKinley Trail hike 了几个小时，裤子全湿透，
上身脱了jacket丝毫未湿，赞一个。注意jacket的hood非常重要，头淋湿了最不爽。
睡袋最好用Synthetic的， Down易湿。
食：民以食为天吗，想玩好，一定要吃好:-)
这次在阿拉斯加全程camping, 住宿上花费极少，钱全花在吃上了。基本上每到一地就
找名气最大的餐馆点最喜欢的菜吃，回来被同事笑话“Live like a hippie, eat like
a yuppie”。阿拉斯加的海鲜实在是赞！哥这十几年在南加北加各大海滨城市都生活
工作学习过，好吃的没少吃，但和阿拉斯加一比，差距还是不小的。回加州后有天馋虫
上脑去家门口的McCormick & Schmick's点了Halibut， 和在阿拉斯加吃的Halibut比感

开回缅因，然后沿海岸南下，7月8日回到纽约市，全程开车。

两类区别于发酵和酿制过程的不同。Ale是千年古老的酿制方式，私人作坊就可运作，
其采用上面发酵(top-fermenting)，就是让酵母飘洒在灌里最上层，在暖热温度下，发
酵较快。Lager较现代大规模，酵母放在灌最底层，在凉爽温度下发酵(bottom-
fermenting)，用的时间也就相对长，几个月时间。
ALE
深色啤酒多为ale，味重苦口，是因为ale发酵酿造过程中产生的麦芽糖多，为了中和麦
芽糖的甜味，添加的hop多。查了一下，hop是一种中文叫蛇麻的绿色植物，中国还是世
界四大生产国。Ale适合室温喝。帖子里说“very hoppy", 就是苦味重的意思。啤酒类
型(type)按照颜色味道等特质细分为多种具体的style：
pale ale 是颜色和苦味上都较淡的最常见ale。

LD原来一同事，6年没见了，突然说乐队在那演出，正好我们住得不远，就过去了。
他们那鼓手好像很牛，专业的。主唱和LD这朋友俩人都神几几，每首歌换一回乐器，一人
玩好几样，热闹的。最逗的是还用手风琴，还是左撇子，倒着拉，还不如我去呢，哈哈。
这帮人水平还不错，大都是自己写的歌，主唱的嗓子很不错，风格稍微有点单一，我们认
识那人写的两首歌相对比较好

在devil’s garden camping了几晚。记得野兔子挺多，在tent周围乱跑。如果能抓几
只，晚饭就丰富了。看了大部分有名的arches。
顺便帖下附近有名的antelope canyon 和 Colorado river bend。不算国家公园，但比
很多国家公园还漂亮。

Guinness黑啤。中国人大多喜欢颜色浅一点的。建议找个自酿啤酒的餐馆（brewery),
把不同颜色的啤酒都尝一遍，找到自己喜欢的口味，记住那个种类，比如stout, pale
ale, amber ale, lager等，以后到别处也点这个。不同品牌的同种啤酒应该味道相似
的。另外Costco有自家的Kirkland啤酒，每箱有4种，都是比较受欢迎的品种，可以试
试。 啤酒要喝冰镇的，不能加冰块。 |

Bear Republic's fantastic Racer 5 IPA priced at $6.49 plus tax and CRV. Even
the brewery in Healdsburg doesnt sell them this cheap! Like all things
Target, this could be very YMMV and was not verified at other locations.
