Usually, the reviewer will decide if the paper is accepted as full paper
or brief paper. I guess what your advisor mean is to write a short paper
and aim at the brief paper only.
The brief paper, although considered as of lower-rank than the full paper,
does not mean it may be easier than the full paper in terms of acceptance
rate.
If the paper is good, but not extremely good, then get accepted as full paper
or not mainly depends on your skill or writting and organizing the paper, and

偶也来个 brief哈！我从来没在seattle看到过这么多中国人和华人聚集在一起，为了
一个目的:热爱自己的祖国!反对不负责任的媒体和西方霸权!
游行的时候真的声势壮大,吸引了好多校园里的学生和行人.我和我家ld担负向我所在学
校的爱国同胞们汇报现场的任务,绝大部分时间在队伍外拍摄现场 (等一下上片片哈!),
从游行队伍的开头走到最后都要花费好几分钟!顺便说句,欧们狂拍了好多照片,带去的
两个相机,一个拍没电了,另一个空间爆了...
现场很激动人心，组织得很有序，没有肢体冲突，也没有暴力。真的要感谢所有参加的
xdjm,还有组织者!
飞机造声势是很好的策略!飞机飞过的时候,我们都在下面唱歌,向飞行员致敬!媒体的镜
头也对准了飞机!凤凰台和美联社还有一些地方电视台都出动了人员来采访和摄影!
