我的smoker是Napoleon牌，据说Weber的最好。
方子很简单：
三文鱼上面放很多粗盐，腌过夜，把表面的盐粒洗掉，晾干到鱼肉表面
有一点粘手，大概2-4小时。
把smoker下面的火盆拿出来，抓上5-6块Kingsford briquet，上面堆上
几块木头，我用的是Hickory加苹果木。点燃briquet，放入smoker里，
把鱼放上，把smoker密封好，慢慢熏8小时。 |

感觉羊肉串还是碳烤的香。注意，是真正的木炭，不是briquet。烤的时候再用锡纸包

40lb total) Kingsford brisquet charcoal for $9.99.
It's a tad more expensive than the current Walmart deal. This Lowes deal (
likely Home Depot too but I don't have the flyer for HD) would work for
folks that don't live close to a Walmart, or they are all sold out.

本来这次来温哥华是临时决定的，但在匆忙之中我还是把我和房东去年一起吃饭时的照
片洗出来准备这次去西雅图时送给他。没有想到的是还没联系他之前一封突如其来的
email让我大吃一惊！他刚刚在睡眠中安祥的离开了！我愣愣的看着这封信眼泪不由自
主的滚落下来...
他不仅仅是我原来的房东，他是我的恩师，我的朋友，更像我的慈父。他是我多年前刚
来美国时第一个我认识的美国人，随之而后对美国以及美国人民的认识其实都是从他开
始的。在过去这长达将近20年的时间里，每逢我的生日他都会打电话给我唱生日快乐歌
！他总是说我的生日好记，是珍珠港事件的日子，他永远也不会忘记...
最近几年因我回北京居住，我们彼此见面的机会少了很多，但还是有邮件来往。最后一
次见面是去年我到西雅图我们一起在哥哥家吃饭，虽然他有一些这样那样的健康问题，
但还是自己开车过来，而且是一如既往的健谈，那样的谈笑风生，那样关注我生活中发
生的一切。
