opportunity. However, once Britain began to purchase US products on a
massive scale, sentiment changed, especially after Germany starts to try to

in uk english "philosopher's stone" is actually a phrase, "magical stone
made by an alchemist".
americans especially kids would take "philosopher" as "zhe xue jia".
thus it was replaced with "sorcerer"(wizard).
there are also changes in the text,
like "jumper" in britain version, and "sweater" in american one.
above all "mum" is kept through both versions.
(should be "mom" for the latter.)

、政体及其制度基础——《美国宪法》，都能够从这几百个字的公约中看到它的影子。
我甚至一直认为，凡不能深刻理解《五月花号公约》的人，既没法理解历史上的美国，
也理解不了当代的美国，更看不懂未来美国的走向。
尽管我是个对世界各国的法治建设历史很无知的人，但我却一直没有来由地认为，在近
代世界历史上，美国宪法是一部极为罕见的“超稳定”宪法。“稳定压倒一切”我不知
道用英语该如何说，但稳定压倒了美国宪法或是美国宪法压倒了稳定，毫无疑问是个不
争的历史事实。这部简洁的美国宪法200多年来，除了增补了一些修正案外，历代美国
人居然没有动其中的一个字！我甚至比较愚蠢地预期，再过100年，美国人也不会动其
中的一个字。这是不是能够算一个人间奇迹？我以为，这应该可以算一个真正的人间奇
迹。由此，我甚至敢下结论，美国人恐怕从来就说不来“与时俱进”四个字，英语字典
里是否有这个词，我都高度存疑。

、教堂关闭、教产拍卖、教士转业日多，佛法却为英国学者波威尔（Andrew Powell）
在《常新佛教》（Living Buddhism）一书中，指出是目前西方发展最快的宗教。洋人
信佛、学佛的原因主要是和西方传统信仰的衰微、佛教本身的优点、喇嘛僧的到来、信
息流通的频繁等因素有关。
一、西方传统信仰后系动摇，造成精神的空虚
其原因是：
1. 教理欠圆融
中东发源的信仰，含有神权至上的霸气、教条主义的虐迫性、褊狭族群的排他
性，与科学理性之认知甚少兼容，一般人视为过时、落伍、迷信、远离尘世、与现实社

took US around 200 years to stand in front of the world,
although we cut the history connection between US and
Britain(also Europe) off in this way. But it's not
true that US's culture catch up with others. In fact,
I can't say US nation is a real nation at all.

１９４５年７月，美、英、中三国首脑和外长在柏林西南波茨坦举行会议，２６日
发表《波茨坦公告》，敦促日本投降。全文如下：
美、英、中三国政府领袖公告：
（一）余等：美国总统、中国国民政府主席及英国 首相代表余等亿万国民，业
经会商，并同意对日本应予以一机会，以结束此次战事。
（二）美国、英帝国及中国之庞大陆、海、军部队，业已增强多倍，其由西方
调来之军队及空军，即将予日本以最后之打击，彼等之武力受所有联合国之决心之
支持及鼓励，对日作战，不至其停止抵抗不止。
（三）德国无效果及无意识抵抗全世界激起之自由人之力量，所得之结果，彰

暴恐事件中，十足虚伪与冷酷的《人民日报》
3月3日，《人民日报》图解了外媒对昆明和伦敦砍杀事件的对比，指责英国BBC、《每
日电讯》和美国CNN、Fox新闻等媒体对两个事件的不同用词，说西方媒体集体性“失明
”，失聪，或有意识地淡化暴恐，并同情暴力。
很有意思的是，这个图解本身就体现了《人民日报》虚伪与冷酷的双重标准。
对事件简述中，《人民日报》对昆明事件表述为“云南昆明301严重暴力恐怖事件”，
而对伦敦事件则表述为“伦敦砍杀事件”，回避了“暴力恐怖”这一词汇，淡化了伦敦
的暴恐。
而且，这个《人民日报》的图解故意选择性失明，对英国媒体《每日电讯》（The
Telegraph）的新闻“在对中国火车站野蛮攻击中 持刀恐怖分子至少杀害了29人”（
