材料清单版上有很多好贴，我觉得最有创意的是在所有申请材料之前添加了一个
一页纸的Summary针对totality，让IO从一开始就对全局有个印象.

基本上来讲，看完最初RFE的信觉得很没头绪，很多项都要补充材料。跟公司的律师见
面谈了一下。这个律师（其实不是律师，是国际办公室的一个人而已）很213，最早准
备材料的时候，我跟他说外面花钱请律师的都要准备一封 petition letter 来文献综
述下申请人的niubility,他说没听说过，这个不需要。我说好像EB1B 只要claim 2-3项
就行了，他说2-3项不够，越多越好。他还很牛b哄哄的说他file的case到现在一个都没
被拒过。俺一听这么牛b啊，那是俺见识短了，立马拜服，于是搜肠刮肚准备材料。他
要俺准备至少20封推荐信，我一听傻眼了，作我们这个的掰着手指头都能数得过来，要

Background
材料/化学/电子方向，国内博士，博后2.5年，现美国20-30名大学博后。
40篇文章，一作10篇，全部英文，IF从2-40左右。一作IF>10的大概6篇左右，合作论文
中有2篇Nature子刊。论文大部分发表在Top 0.1-Top 1%的期刊上(based on total
citations)。在PL中99%的地方在讲第一作者的工作。我觉得讲合作的论文也是可以的
，但懒得去挖掘合作论文中的亮点了。好在第一作者的论文也有很多亮点。
引用：大概2000次左右。合作的论文中有几篇hot topic的文章，单篇引用好几个都在
300+。自己一作文章被引大概300次左右，有一篇100+。一作文章中有一篇被大牛写了
专门的2页highlight评价为“重大进展、重要突破、奇迹、这个领域革命性的成果。。
。”。
审稿：10几个杂志，110篇左右。杂志IF从很低到15不等，有不少杂志排名在Top 0.3%,

master(烂校，排不上名次），攒了点paper和审稿。前些日子问律师（wegreened)，评
估申请NIW给了approval or refund，EB1A暂时只有moderate的机会。但是由于去年年
底funding原因，年初就转入同一个学校的计算机系，读data science的phd. 但是这样
由于不跟我之前的research在同一个领域，就没法用我之前的文章和审稿申请EB2/EB1.
现在有另外一个选择，就是去另外一个综合排名50左右的学校读marine science。至少
听起来跟environmental science接近不少（也不知道移民法具体怎么规定的），但是
research方向主要是modeling（之前发的文章主要是environmental toxicology，基于
bench work），跟bench work没联系了。真要说起来，跟之前的research方向也搭不上

try to get in the strip between Broad AND Grand.
East of Broad gets cheaper, sometimes even newer. but i think the ooooooomph
is in that small strip.

请问在light rail边上，是Newark Broad Street还是Newark Penn Station？
如果想要做Train通勤的话，那么78以北的下列城镇到Newark Broad Street站还是非常
方便面的，西起Bernards（Basking Ridge）、Long Hill、Berkeley Heights、New
Providence、Summit、Chatham Boro、Millburn（Short Hills）。学区都9-10分，都
有Train的车站。特点是从西到东，房价依次变贵，人口密度也变高，但是都是好区，
中国人逐渐moving in，黑人几乎没有，印度人也不多。具体买在哪里还要看预算和您
对房子的期望（大小、年代等），一般在40、5万到一米多的范围。
如果想要到Newark Penn Station，那么78号高速以下，22号公路附近的Westfield、
