，观虫的观鸟的，种树的都要做好准备，这次来的broodII据说是15个brood最大的一个。
有没有人还记得2004年的broodX？那个时候我在中西部，每天出门都听到震天的蝉鸣。
进门的时候都要互相检查头上身上有没有蝉。 |

我的理解。也许非质数，捕食者只要以其最小约数为周期产生自己的相对繁殖高峰就可以
match到其产生的高峰，如brood X 如果以15为周期，捕食者只要以3为周期就可以match
到。这样蝉就用了更多的代价换来了并不理想的规避。
纯属瞎猜，不过不肯定的地方是这种利益是否足够大，另外捕食者以约数年出现不一定能
遇到猎物大量出现，这种代价能否被1次match所抵消。

2004年红眼蝉出现的盛况还记忆犹新，当时新闻连篇累牍，脱口秀主持唾沫横飞，居民
有的欢喜有的愁，真是一场盛会。
今年的红眼蝉据说比2004年还要多，预期会产生更大的社会效应，非常值得期待。埋在
地下挖土17年，已经成熟的Brood II幼虫藏在地下8寸的土里，当土的温度达到64F时，
这些蝉就要破土而出了，专家预测这个日期就在1周左右之后。
活动奖励办法（详述）:
为了配合这个万众瞩目的事件，动物园版将举办【我与红眼蝉】活动，活动包括两个部
分：
1. 奔蝉和ID的照片，照片同时有今年的新蝉和写有买买提ID的纸片。按发帖的时间给

I'm a beekeeper and I did some research on this excellent question because I
didn't know the answer. Turns out the answer is YES - some wasps DO produce
honey, however most do not. Honey is typically created as a food source for
brood among honeybees. Most wasps rely on protein from other insects as a
food source.
The Polistine wasp is an example of a honey-producing wasp. There are no

自己的后代？这个最著名的是杜鹃科的鸟（cuckoos)，不过北美的Black-billed和
Yellow-billed Cuckoo很少进行巢寄生。北美巢寄生的主要罪犯就是Brown-headed
Cowbird。我看见过小Chipping Sparrow成鸟喂养是它三倍体重的Brown-headed
Cowbird幼鸟。被巢寄生的Chipping Sparrow自己的幼鸟肯定不能存活下来，不是被
cowbird的幼鸟弄死就是竞争不过而饿死。
