2. Amazon把书(物品)分很细的类
case 1. 如果该类东西足够多，就把看过那页的用户，和看过之后近期内买了该类东西的用户做个交集，对交集用户，取他们的购买选择计算，统计排行榜，取最高的3～5个显示。
case 2. 如果该类东西不够多，就在父类或祖先里搜索，直到足够多数据。
这些计算量是很大的，我不认为他们是实时生成的，而且也没必要。应该是overnight
在server算出来的。
有意思的是，好象现在Amazon把这个功能摘掉了，换成“Frequently Bought Together
" 和 “Customer Bought This Item Also Bought"
我觉得可能是有厂家不满，这个算法很容易导致马太效应，做得好的，或口碑好一点的
，迅速拿下大部分可以左右的客户。同类的新产品很难与之竞争。

粗眉妹现在已经十五个月半了，可是前两天却把标志性的粗眉给磕破了，到医院缝了两
针，可心疼死妈妈了，可是粗眉妹是一个铜皮铁骨的小宝宝，第二天就把所有伤忘得一
干二净，像个没事人一样了。可是缝针的时候妈妈哭得跟我一样伤心。
粗眉现在已经不满足于乖乖走路，要用奔的，跑得可快了，可是就担心死妈妈了，生怕
再伤着了，这一阵子还忙于练跳，每天要靠把大件的玩具，椅子什么的搬来搬去消耗多
余的精力，妈妈说很可能是一个练武的好料子。可是就是比较担心我的痛觉神经似乎
不是那么发达，是很好养，可是痛过就忘记了，不懂得吸取教训。
粗眉妹现在已经能讲很多有意思的话，基本能说出身边所有事物的名字，也能讲出简单
的短句，能正确使用简单形容词，例如冷，热，重，痛，也能自己独立吃饭饭，虽然吃
得还不是很好，一听到节奏还喜欢跳自创的奇特舞步。
臭美妈把粗眉妹的照片拿去显摆了，现在正在parents.com上面选weekly cute kid,每
天每个browing能投一票，也就是同一台电脑IE能投一票，fairfox能再投一票，今天的

个贴把这两者联系起来说说。
我一进书店图书馆的儿童部，我就觉得这里的孩子好幸福，有这么多优质的书可以看。
大家不要小看象是Lazystone（鼓掌，献花）帖子中的说的这些书。虽然看起来很简单
，实际上非常用心的。
比如说Brow Bear是教孩子farm animal+颜色的，下一本polar bear是教孩子zoo
animal+动物叫声，第三本是教孩子稀有动物+动物动作+环保意识的， 第四本是教孩子
原生动物+动物动作+亲子关系的。
多少父母能这么系统的教孩子这4本书中蕴含的内容还不重样的？
尤其对那些母语非英语的父母来说，知道“growling like a polar bear, roaring

杨振宁
黄昆和我在西南联大研究院是同班同学。我们于1944年得到物理学硕士学位。一年以后
，我们先后出国，去修读博士学位。他去了英国，我去了美国。出国以后我们不常通信
，可是每次提笔写信却总是写得很长。1947年2月或3月我给他写了一封长信。那时我正
在Allison的实验室工作，不很顺利，所以信上一定用了disillusionment一字。可惜这
封信我没有留下副本，而他也没有把原信保留下来。但是他的回信却在我的来往信件档
案之中。现在我把他给我的这封信打好复印在下面。
这封信很有意思。它描述了他（和我）作研究生时候的一些企求与失望的心态。也描述
了他对导师Mott的评价。关于Bernard Shaw的一段话也非常有意思。相信物理系的研究
生会从这封信中得到一些鼓励与启发。

-160表格，在网上submit后打印出条形码即可。
今天一条international bridge 因为bomb threat被关闭，走了另一条Matamoros-Brow
nsville bridge，回来的费用是50美分或者5比索，注意必须是两个quarter或者一个5比
索的硬币，附近没有换硬币的，所以请提前做好准备。
另外最近墨西哥境内暴力凶杀事件频仍，建议去银行，领馆最好打车，不管路有多远。 |

PERM to be approved. PP I-140, then PP H1B extension. Then re-entered the US
wtih the new H1B approval. You may need to obtain new visa stamp if your
current one is already expired.
If your company has an office in your home country, you could possibly work
remotedly from your home country. Or you could go to a third country where
your company has an office, but you would need global immigration advice

recapture more time and the current H1B runs out, I cannot extend it even
after the PERM and I-140 are both approved. Is that correct? Or did I

I understand that it raises eye brows at the Consulate and CBP with a short
status validity. Is it possible for the Consulate to deny me the visa or for
