Buccs的总经理为了掩饰自己的无能，
把输球的责任全部推到了教练和球员的身上。
他首先解雇了主教练bennett,
然后宣布要用来年的头号选秀权draft
86年的害死人奖得主，University of Miami的明星QB Vinny Testeverde。
小杨决定走人，但想想上一年跟USFL闹的合同纠纷，
不由不寒而栗。更糟糕的是，这次和土鳖队的合同中，
连no-trade条款都没有，他的命运全部掌握在球队手中。
这时候老大哥Steve DeBerg又给小弟弟上人生课了，
他给了小杨两条忠告。第一条是在转会问题上
顺其自然，低调处理，摆出高姿态。
小杨深以为然，虽然知道再也不会在Buccs打球了，
但在赛季结束后并不清理locker room，
offseason的时候照样参加Buccs的训练营，
就好象什么也没有发生一样，
既不提出要求转会，也不跟记者胡说八道。
他的高姿态果然打动了buccs的老板Hugh Culverhouse。
他当初非常看好小杨，结果没能成功，
才一年就把他扫地出门，心里觉得对不起这孩子。

他在tampa是被球迷当成扭转乾坤的救世主看待的。
buccs沉寂太久，太需要一个英雄人物了。
不过主教练Leeman Bennett深知，
目前的小杨还只是一个prospect,
必须谨慎使用，不能贸然派他上场打击自信心。
于是几乎整个85赛季，小杨都是在场边度过的，
场上buccs被打的稀里哗啦，看台上观众齐声高呼“换小杨”，
但教练始终不为所动。
直到赛季末，Bennett决定给小杨一次先发的机会，
对手是弱队Detroit Lions。
小杨的数字并不是很好看，只传了167码，没有TD，没有INT。
但他得到了最重要的数据：一个W，buccs击败了detroit.
小杨创造了历史，他是tampa bay buccaneers有史以来，
第一个首次先发就获得胜利的QB。
到了86赛季，所有人都认为小杨该真除starting QB了，
没想到在揭幕赛上，出现在球场上的还是老头DeBerg。
deberg表现及其糟糕，一度传给对手的球比传给自己人的还多
(6 interceptions vs 5 completions)，

The Packers are better, the Lions are better in NFCN.
The 49ers, the Seahawks, the Saints, the Buccs are all better too.
Right now, it looks more difficult to make the playoff than last year. The
Vikings were a couple lucky plays away from getting beat by the Packers in
the last regular season game. You certainly deserved to be in the playoff,
but you were also very close missing the playoff.

was underrated. The Buccs beat the Vikings at Metrodome last year, and they
almost beat the 15-1 Packers at Lambeau 2 years ago. |

BRIEN自己的CAMP保持绝对静默。
最新的NFL消息是，TEXANS已经非常接近和O'BRIEN达成协议，很多人认为O'BRIEN去
HOUSTON是90%以上确定的事了。
另一方面，来自PSU的消息是，我狮已经着手寻找下一任主教练，现在的热门人选有以
下5位：
现任VANDY主教练FRANKLIN
现任MIAMI主教练GOLDEN
现任NFL49人队OC的ROMAN
现任NFL泰坦队主教练的MUNCHAK
现任NFL TAMPA BAY BUCC主教练的SCHIANO
值得一提的是，上述5人中有4人有所谓的PSU-TIE，当然有些比较松散。
MUNCHAK就不用说了，他是PSU当年的明星OL，后来的NFL HALL-OF-FAME；FRANKLIN出生
在宾州；GOLDEN和SCHIANO都曾在PSU执教。而ROMAN两年前是我狮主教练人选之一，他
曾公开表示PSU是JOB FOR LIFE,我其实当年很想要他。

发帖数: 2682 | 34 FRANKLIN在TEXAS的SHORT LIST上，我觉得我狮搞到他的可能性不大。不过，FRANKLIN
已经明确表示，如果我狮CALL他，他愿意LISTEN。
周一，TAMPA BAY BUCC刚FIRE了SCHIANO，他现在是热门人选之一，但是不少我狮的扇
子对他并不感冒。
这段时间是教练大洗牌的时候，COLLEGE和NFL都是如此。我个人最希望能搞到VANDY的
FRANKLN，年轻、有朝气、进攻型、去NFL的可能性不大、在VANDY干的相当不错、能
RECRUIT。。。
其次，我很想看看2年前的候选人之一，49人队现任OC ROMAN能不能胜任。同样年轻、
有朝气、进攻型。。。09-10年曾经在STANFORD干过，多少算有些大学经验。 |

发帖数: 2682 | 35 SCHIANO是个比较MICRO-MANAGEMENT的教练，在BUCCS和队员相处的有点问题。他能
RECRUIT，在NJ有很多联系，这些我都觉得没问题。但我总觉得这哥们算不上ELITE，估
计给你搞个8-9胜没问题，想指望他OVER-THE-HUMP有点难。
