古训，没有费事费时去找巴士，而是一出车站，便叫了辆出租车直接开往在危城西南40
公里处的安提瓜。
在车上与出租车司机攀谈，他说危城里有很多中餐馆，也有很多中国人，做着服装生意
。印象中根据网上的游记，危地马拉的中国人并不多，也很难找到中餐馆，毕竟中国和
危地马拉并没有外交关系。一下子好奇起来，就问这些人是不是都在小商品市场
MERCADO 工作。司机说不是，是 MARQUE, MARQUE。我的西语只停留在入门旅游用语水
平，半天没明白MARQUE 具体应该是哪个词，所以也没弄明白同胞们都在哪里聚集、做
什么营生。
到陌生的地方旅行，我一般都会做好充分准备，定下详细行程。这次听了N 君的话，说
是我平时理性思考太多，计划太多，压制了感性，不太听从自己内心的声音，不如放下
那些要掌控一切的想法，至少在旅行的后半段，交出控制权，听从命运的安排，GO

was great and you should find it comfortable and relaxing, close to seaworld
. Not a luxury one but everything you need should be available. Breakfast

感谢Booker的简介。上个星期六拿到了这本书，到昨天终于结束了。在不剧透的前提下
，说一下感想。
首先，简要介绍一下作者，David Mitchell。英国人，算是“青年”作家，1969年生。
有写古怪小说的历史。他的第一本小说，《Ghostwritten》，也是一本很古怪的作品，
跟这本《云图》有些类似，据说没有《云图》这么老练，毕竟是处女作。
前两年的《New Yorker》上有他的2010年新书《The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De
Zoet》的Review，把他跟Eco和Nabokov比较。据说这本《The Thousand Autumns of
Jacob De Zoet》有一些海战的描写，让人想起Patrick O’Brian，另一个我很喜欢的
作家。这本新书讲述荷兰东印度公司跟日本的交往中的故事，又是一个我很感兴趣的题
材。这本书已经放到我的书单上了。
绕回来，接着说《云图》。这本书是2004年的作品，当年的Man Booker的Shortlist，
还有2005年的星云奖提名。

忙/新爱好/没假期，今年结结实实地在家门口闷了一年，哪儿也没去，还是趁着今天没
事儿都贴了。现在一贴只能放十张图片，我觉得不太够，将就一下吧。
2009年六月的古巴
一般人去古巴通常会选择十月到四月之间，六月的古巴正好是雨季开始，白天又潮又热
，傍晚通常会下一场雨，到七月还可能会有漩风，所以行动不是那么方便，好处是多雨
的日子里光线都很美，尤其是在傍着远山的特里尼达，热一点儿也值得了。
关于从美国去古巴的不方便之处，很多旅游手册和网站上都介绍过了，我们这一次更是
碰上流感，改机票就折腾了几次。但是总体来说，除了必须从第三方国家转机，以及要
带够足够现金的限制，没有什么特别的困难。古巴签证就是在机场或者旅行社里那里领
一张纸而已，最后出境时收回，如果没有最后剩下的一些古巴比索和外汇券，简直没有
任何证据可以说明我们去过古巴。
走之前读的各种资料上都说古巴物资严重缺乏，要用的东西最好带齐，所以我们收拾东
西特别的小心，后来在商店里看到，的确各种商品又贵又少，很像国内八十年代初的样

发帖数: 340 | 30 看过很多Maroon Bells的照片，一直想去一游。终于九月底趁周末去了Colorado三天。第一天先在Denver转了半天，下午说是去Boulder看看，结果一下子开到Rocky Mountain N.P. 我觉得和Banff、Jasper比起来，Rocky Mountain 真的差不少。当然我也没有来的及
去Trail Ridge那边。
第二天基本花在从Colorado Spring到Aspen的路上。本来想走Crested Butte，后来觉得时间来不及，还是走Independence Pass这条路了。前后都是艳阳高照，不过在82上到Independence Pass的一段居然有点儿下雨。
第三天早晨去Maroon Bells，一下车就碰到石碑大师(tencups)。当然开始不认识，后来一聊才知道都上买买提。从选点到取景，石碑大师都指点了不少，帮助很大。回来看照片还是觉得有很多遗憾，经验不足。一是早上应该再早起一点儿；二是GND太小，用起来不方便；还有就是
有ND竟然忘了用。照风景真的是慢工细活，从拍摄到后期都偷懒不得。
