就戴了普通的苹果手表，果然用12-13的Pace完成了。最后0.5迈是走， 我让自己cool
down,前面的6.5都是用steady pace完成的，中间见到一个有点pit bull terrier,
其它的都是poodle,看来poodle的主要特点就是毛。和size无关，Terrier倒是medial
size。我要去查看一下wiki..
感慨的话就少说了，如果没有这跑步，我不知道我的人生会怎样的境地。。正能量的传
播就是跟Laura和jonean一样。。我好幸运能和这么优秀的美国女孩在一起。她们的言
行思想一直在影响我。。要去吃午饭了。。我可以炒空心菜给自己吃，还有羊肉。。。

我们送了一只流浪小黑猫去当地的animal shelter。几天后小黑猫被put down了。听到

过去。送去时候被告知，猫要先做个test，看是否可以和人相处做family pet。如果特
别亲近人类，会被放在shelter的铁笼子里，供人认养。如果不亲近人也不怕人，会被
放在【？？】等待foster home。如果有攻击性，就会杀死。

好有人带它到了Barc.
它是一只一岁大的雄性Pit bull或者French bull dog mix。有着bull dog典型的短鼻
子和宽厚的手掌。体重大约50lb，中等大小。但是和Pit bull凶猛性格不一样的是，这
只狗狗相当的needy和sweet。只要有人给它一点点注意力，它就开心的摇尾巴吐舌头，
各种求抱抱求摸摸。我们当时把它从笼子里带出来以后，它也一个劲的往人怀里钻。
这只叫Lex的狗狗，在明天下午11pm-4pm还会在同一个Petsmart等待好心人领养。它现
在已经有各种预防针和chip,Petsmart也会提供免费的training class.想养狗狗的同学
们，特别是平时运动多的男生，请考虑一下Lex吧。 |

但是有些特征太明显了
而且这边比较纯的很多，每年都能看到不少刚来的pits bull puppy。很可惜，成年以
后的pits bull我只见到过两只出来遛的，别的都是隔着fence看到的。他们都在院子里
很aggressive，非常protective，而且有点不分青红皂白的乱叫。主人在家也根本不制
止，也就是说，完全不train。
pits bull非常有归属感。上次被咬，其实发起进攻的是另外一只小狗，但是当我迫不
得已要踢那只小狗的时候（已经咬了来福），同行的pits bull紧紧盯着我，也不吭声
，嘴闭的很紧，才是让我害怕的。 |

我们家的pit bull，昨天早上跟我在街上走，路过一家人在前院fence后面养着3只
rottweiler. 3只都很凶，看到有狗经过就狂吠不止，还顺着fence追。我们家的pit
bull也比较凶，不退缩。以前经过他们家我都绕到街对面走，昨天因为刚刚给换了个绑
过胸部的leash, 我认为可以轻松拉住他没问题，就大意了。刚到那家附近，最凶的一
头把头伸出来了，不知道怎么我们家的就把对方上嘴唇咬住了。我使劲拽，打我们狗的
头，足足一分钟，分不开。那家人出来用一把大螺丝刀放进我们家狗嘴里，他才松开。
我们家狗狗轻伤，下嘴唇破了，脸上都是血，大部分血是对方的。那家人非要我付医药
费，我觉得没道理。他们家狗自己把头伸到公共空间了 （这个可以确认，因为我们家
狗狗头大，伸不进去）而且跟我们挑衅，我们家狗在我的leash上。他们狗是挑起事端
的，虽然我们受伤不重，应该各负各的费用。
回去我在网上找了半天，说什么的都有。大家怎么看？

相差无几,即使pacers的jo, tinsley, bender, pollard 等等这些人都能凑合上,其
他人也的小伤病也不影响大局,pacers也并不是必胜.但是今年pistons在东部是在不
算顶尖队伍.首先pacers的实力无以伦比,不提那些现有队员的伤病,只要artest,be
nder,harrison这3人中能有一人上场,pistons根本不是对手.
同样东部第二强队bulls少了核心deng本来也不比heat,pistons差,毕竟nocioni的防
守功力还是无人能及的.但是内线curry可是完全没有替补的,他也是bulls唯一没有
替补的位置.他和deng同时离开,让bulls惜败给wiz.
也许有人争论,wiz也是同样少了一个内线brown和一个sf hayes.但是bulls的替补还
是无法和wiz相比的.wiz的实力下降显著也是事实,但是毕竟wiz没有成为pacers那样

关吃牛肉的趣闻轶事。最吸引笔者的，是一段有关英国人吃牛肉与其民族性的典故。
书中提到英国人自号约翰牛(John Bull)，是缘于小说《The History of John
Bull》里的虚构人物，英国商人John Bull及一名法国人和荷兰人因生意纠纷而对簿公
堂的故事。主角正气、爱国、单纯善良。相反，两名外国人，一个心术不正，狡猾多端
；另一个则阴阳怪气，行为不检。英国人认同主角的正直性格。
书中引述Ben Rogers所著《Beef and Liberty》一书中的观点，说吃牛肉与争取自
由，对于英国人来说，有着莫大关系。
话说中世纪时，英、法之间战祸连年，展开了所谓“百年战争”，互有胜负。到了
1415年10月24日，两军在法国北部决战，法军集结了大量精兵，不但斗志昂扬，而且装
备精良；相反，英军劳师远征，补给困难，可谓师老兵疲，装备也有所不及，最重要的
是以寡敌众。双方显然强弱悬殊。

首先，除了价格以外，大家最关心的大概是清晰度。先说说感光器吧。大部分低端产品
既然都是同一个厂家或者几个厂家出的，所以里面的东西其实是一样的，一颗1/4" 4:3
300K像素的CMOS，仅能支持原生640x480的分辨率。任何高于这个分辨率都是插值得到
的。不仅插值，而且还是从中间截出16:9画面来插值，也就是说只有640x360的分辨率。
可惜的是，这个分辨率很多伪高端产品也不能避免。例如bulls-i，背后的ODM是
EtherTek，厂家的spec上面直接说是动态分辨率是640x480，低感只能达到1 Lux

裂痕是线状的，填充材料不容易挤压进去，或者说挤压进去的长度有限。做bully eye
（圆疤状）后，材料就会被挤压进bull eye 周围的裂缝中去一点。你这么长的裂痕要
做好多个 bull eye。你愿意死马当活马医，可以试试。但用冲子冲出bull eye的时候
一定要小心，别让裂缝再增加了。 |

花了一天。主要是工具不多，拆后面License tag 背面的那块铁皮的螺丝是10号的，我
1/2ranch的socket就到11号，没办法，开车出去买工具。耽误了。
关于pull over,是这样的。sedan神车的后轮胎要换了，由于高里程，老车，就换俩，
就随便从亚麻买了俩最便宜的，一大早屁股颠颠赶去local一家很熟的红脖店，把胎给
换了。
接着装装前面的bull bar，结果下面的4个tow hook螺丝怎么扳都扳不下来，只好刚回
来又赶去红脖店给拆螺丝。路上没完全适应从1.8L到4.7L的巨变，在小城downtown主路
被警车闪着灯pull over了(今天正好是波马，满大街都是条子，撞枪口上了)。尼玛上
次pull over都10几年前的事了，倒霉。条子过来说
尼玛30的路开了45，你知道吗？我说啊，不知道，我一向开得很保守。管我的驾照和

K99 + CNS is still the king. "Big bull" lab is not necessary. We actually
have search committee members don't like people from "big bull" lab, because

SPX over a multiple year run. It's a different story.
To tell a bull market from bear market is called timing, and it doesn't
matter if it's yield is slightly less than index. You can always use
leverage. Double, triple your return in bull market and stay away from
bear market, or even short in bear market, and you are above water most of
the time.

%) was just an assumption/example that many people use to help understand
the benefit of a tax shelter. A tax shelter alone, be it roth or something
else, certainly is not going to do the magic. Any way, the point I was
making was not about whether you should invest in stocks/bonds/commodities.
But I see your logic. The stock market can be indeed frustrating...

in fact, I specifically said in the earlier post that we might be entering
the final phase of this cyclical bull market
we are not there yet
in a longer time frame, I am in the camp that we are still in a secular
bear market since 2000. If you are looking for a bubble in the end of of
a secular bull market, yes, there is a long long long way to go. We havent
even started a secular bull market yet IMO. |

I quite agree with what badcompany's assertation: no bubble no bear market.
Do we have bubble now? no, at height of bubble years, DJIA high is 11800,
COMP is 5400, now DJIA stands at 13300 and COMP is 2700, DJIA is blue chip
representing value, COMP reprents speculation and a measure of bubble, so no
bubble. The worst is a slowing growth but we are still growing.
