using a pair of bionulars to steal signs, Phillies slugging percentage
as a team dropped like 100 points. But it went back a couple of months
after. Either a new way was found or it was a pure coincidence. |

大家如果去现场的话，可以到bullpen后面的座位上近距离观察
比赛快开始的时候，就会有人（一般是rookie）搬吃的喝的过来
吃的有energy bar，葵花籽，口香糖等
喝的有水，G之类的
菜鸟会一个个摆好，还吧喝的放到cooler里 |

输赢已经没有关系了.
Phillies是奔着WS冠军去的,否则就是失败.现在看来,最大的困难好像在第一轮NLDS.
Phillies的死穴是很明显的:打线左手太多,对左投一直没有什么办法,所以说Pence的加
盟才尤为重要. J Ro的问题是随着年龄和体重的增加,挥棒不再是短而快,而是总想打
home run. 以前能打很多singles加偷垒,现在只能是pop out了. Utely膝盖有伤,所以
现在打不出来,估计过些天会好些.
真正的麻烦在bullpen.没有一个投手能让人放心地投第7-8局.Worely,Stutes, Blanton
, Bastardo 都是一局能give up 2-3分的主,ERA看起来还可以,但不能保证clear
inning. 只要有人上垒,特别是失误或walk之后,失分太快.
如果能熬过第一轮,Phillies的前景会好些. |

再说说Phillies的bullpen, 赛季初我就说这是Phillies的软肋.今年靠着几个新手的超
水平发挥,结果不算差.但现在最要命的是别的队对Bastardo等人都已经适应,而这些新
手已经很累了,自信心也不行. Bastardo一遇到困难就死砸左下角silder,太容易适应了.
Lidge 确实老了, fast ball不行了,光凭silder很难strike out那些一线打手. |

目前看来,set-up man的角色空缺. 几个第7-8局reliver的人选都不是很好.
几个原来的先发投手Worley,Joe 胖，Kendrick都不是能投1-2-3 inning的，这三个人
都有一个共同特点：有可能一局give up 3 runs,但其后能稳定下来, 但你永远也不知
道那一局在什么时候出现。
Lidge只剩下slider了，很难strike out 击球手。 Bastardo不稳定，Stutes更难以胜
任。 也就是Madson一人能挑重担。
我想老查理一定非常想念Contreras. |

但今天的第二场比赛就是bullpen的fine tone. Pence的那个error,
就是5分的差别。 Herndon 不会出现在季后赛的名单上的。我不觉得
连输8场有什么了不起。

今年在Rotation拿不出手的情况下只让CC出场一次并且客场死拼年度最佳Verlander.
自己有个和绝大多数投手对阵有很大把握取胜的ace，却让他去死拼一场may go either
way的比赛。
一旦拼输，等着让“唯一稳定的就是不稳定”的AJ和first year rookie扭转乾坤？牛
逼的战术。
至于bullpen的调用就更无敌了，主场的比赛Garcia面对联盟avg leader打击手（并且
还从他手里打出homer）垒上两人人的时候就是不换，丢了2分，然后第九节换上Ayala
，再丢1分。追个P啊，直接投降了算了。说什么Garcia投的好，可人家对面的nearly
no hitter的投手在养鸡要起势的时候不是说换下就换下去就把优势保住了？Joe的理论

Phillies have been shut out by the back end of Cards bullpen so far
in this series. Phillies on the other hand have to use Vince Worley
for the 8th inning. Vince Worley and 2 run game 8th inning should
never be in the same sentence. :( |

如既往地一般。Phillies的先发已经崩盘两次了，但Cards的bullpen还没有。从几率上

酿酒人是主场龙、客场虫。打手对左投没办法，投手对左打很吃力，还跟费力玩什么？
况且要7场4胜，四张老A不会都掉链子吧？
红鸟就不一样了。有两个一般水平的先发投手和几乎整个bullpen,都是和Phillies最
来劲。费城对左投的“费力”可非同一般。 |

at that moment, slowering down Garcia and buying a bit more time for
Dotel should give Cards a bit better chance in this game

that "surrender"? Any evidence proving any relievers would do better
against Fielder?
ps: I'm talking about the remaining gameS. Lohse and Jackson need
bullpen to cover their ass. Managers can't let game 1 screw up
the whole series.

Was'nt this what tls did that day? I have no problem with it. My point
was if Duncan paid a mount visit before Braun and Fielder coming up, it
at least can buy some time for Dotel. If Dotel did not give up that HR,
Cards should still have some chance.
Cards bring one more reliever for this series and there are off days.
Moving to the bullpen earlier is not that a big deal.
PS: Brewer is a solid and balanced team. But none of their starters is
really dominant. |

过来的，昨天多少次momentum在Texas这边？一直到延长期都是
