gun owner 说其中一个喊着要杀他。 personally i think it's bs.

S**********s 发帖数: 4534 | 31 As a matter of fact, I'm with you on this one.
I rather go to court than compromise the safety of my family.
The reason I chose shotgun over rifle is because here in California, semi
automatic rifles are limited to 10 round and most of them don't even have a
detachable magazine.
Plus the chance of being burglarized by full body armor wearing low life is
incredibly low.
Even then, lightweight body armors have very limited coverage area, you're
gonna have to get something like Interceptor OTV, wit... 阅读全帖 |

Unless you know or strongly suspect your opponent is behind armor ( which
often covers as low as the umbilicus or even false pelvis), you should
always go for center of mass --- that is, the center of the visible portion
of the target.

I agree with the mentioned shotgun, pistol, and dog.
From what I have learned, a sounded home defense setup should have 4D layers

Deterrent: well lighted and visible around the house, sign of security/
surveillance system, and secured entries.
Detect: the best a barking dog can alarm you when the stranger is
