发帖数: 3482 | 6 现在俺正坐在休斯顿布什机场的VIP候机室，闲的没事写个换护照攻略吧。
飞机是早上7点的，到休斯顿是当地时间8点，有一个小时时差，飞行时间是2小时左右
。基本上在飞机上就是睡大觉，醒了也就差不多到了。
去之前研究了很久租车的问题，竟然发现当天早上租车，晚上还车竟然要收费极贵。去
了常见的几个网站，基本上最低报价都是80-120，这还没算上各种苛捐杂税。如果早上
租，第二天中午还，一天多一点时间，则每天15-18块，但是要被CHARGE 2天。算上税
费等，也要50-60。最可气的是，出租车公司不允许提前还车，提前要收15块钱的EARLY
RETURN FEE，而且据说费率还有可能被调整。真是道高一尺，魔高一丈。既然出租车
公司这么黑，咱闪。
另一个OPTION就是坐TAXI，研究了一下YELLOW CAB的RATE，IAH机场到大使馆，23英里
，算上15-20%的消费，没有$50-$60也是拿不下来的，而且这仅仅是单程。
最终，决定坐BUS。
好像目前网上还没有坐BUS的攻略，我就写写我的经历，版主送100个包子吧。

发帖数: 359 | 10 Camper bus on Aug-17: 坐下午两点多camper bus，上车只有不到12人，在30miles之
前下了若干，到达wonder lake时只剩4人，一路见到的其他bus都是满载。女司机非常
乐观友好，一路讲解或自言自语。camper bus看动物的缺陷在于车上人少，而其他bus
上有更多眼睛在发现动物。而司机是不可能帮你找动物的，因为开这种山路你必须很专
心，有一段山路还是很危险。但两点这趟bus的好处是它没有时间限制，到达wonder
lake就差不多7点了，司机会在哪里停留一晚上第二天返回。我遇到的这个司机一路跟
在其他bus后面，让他们帮着找动物，前面bus停则停。
至于回来：到公园可以要一个时间表，我是第二天中午回来的，坐任何bus都可以，只
有有空座位。早上有两趟8点左右的车，中午1点好像有另一趟camper bus。我坐12点左
右的regular bus，因为他们有人在wonder lake下车了，所有有空位留出。 |

来，第二个是白男，当时用胳膊使劲拍打suv前面，怒吼了！！！

如下：
我朋友是老司机，他开MB GL450 4WD,在高速中间车道开，速度25mph左右。突然在我们
车的左边传来数声爆裂响，左边出现一辆Bus，我们瞬间明白发生刮擦了。
事故发生后，我朋友车速度已经减到很低到停下，我们看Bus还在继续开，以为bus要开溜，于是就按喇叭滴他。此时Bus开始靠边停车。
大家下车后，赶紧查看损伤情况，只见左边观后镜松动了，不过还没有脱落，观后镜尖端的灯仍然亮着。
BUS司机下来就说是我朋友的错，理由是我朋友开得太偏左，他左边没有任何空间了，再往左就要撞隔离带了。他说他车上有10个乘客可以作证。我们说明明是你从后面超车，你不预先判断好空间够不够超什么车啊。我们车上也有5个乘客可以作证。
于是我朋友打电话报警，不久警察就来了，那个白人bus司机就开始跟警察唧唧歪歪说个不停，我们想上去说话，警察就说都回到车上去。结果我们都说不上话。

station of which it stop for.
In regarding to "telling the driver", are you saying telling the Bus Driver?
or telling the Train Driver? It is impossible to tell the Train Driver to
personally inform you to get off the train when it arrive. So, I guess you

route map, not the train map. Haaahaaa.
That's easy. If you drive your car follow the same route as the bus. Find
the bus stop one before the stop your friend want to get off. Tell your
friend to remember that landmark. Next time, no matter if anyone get off the
bus at the stop (one stop before your destination) or not, just wait for

平时潜水惯了，今天忍不住要上来冒一下泡，实在是因为昨天坐nacski的ski bus去
heavenly滑雪的遭遇让我太不爽了。本来坐bus就是为了省点力气，不用大雪天开车，
结果到头来更加折腾。
昨天早上4点半我和老公在milpitas vta搭上bus，大概4点40分发的车，10点到
heavenly，bus的tour lead说可以把不用的东西留在车上，很安全，并提醒我们注意时
间，下午四点半准时发车回去。虽然heavenly开的道不多（才三条），人多风大雪大，
但是滑的还是很high的。大概是high过头了，快结束时老公又去滑了三圈，lift都关了
才回到gondola，结果坐gondola到山脚下的时候已经4点半了。我们紧赶慢赶朝bus冲过
去，结果离bus不到100feet的时候，看到bus不等我们直接走了。因为扛着ski，拎着

现在有个问题，我不是很清楚我应该选camper bus还是普通的shuttle bus（因为我估
计我的装备不是很多，所以理论上两种车都可以上）。我担心如果选camper bus以后下
来看野生动物不会太自由，而且停的敌方也会不同，这样就有违我的初衷了（而且事实
上camper bus还便宜一些）。所以请问这种时候我是要定啥比较好呢？是保险一点
shuttle bus吗？
还有如果我去的时候camper bus，回来的时候可不可以shuttle bus 这种？

常在雪天看到大家都小心翼翼的开车的时候会有bus以比大家都快得多的速度通过。昨
天我从virginia南部向北开，I64上也是遍布冰雪，所有的车都开25mph左右，就见一辆
当地的transportation bus从入口上来，快速超过所有的车。 |

的中国人不方便用car pool，可以坐他们的bus.

接我父母，然后和他们一起坐飞机回到Boston。

我现查到的megabus是$15,在south station上车，在纽约7th Ave @ 28th st下车。
Port Authority Bus Terminal在42th st@8th Ave.

有bus去Newyork，好多朋友用过，我没做过，但去过station。
还有，查康州bus，进CTtransit 网站查。

圣诞假期想去附近的滑雪场滑雪，本来想去的是Virginia的wintergreen滑雪场，曾经
知道有从Raleigh/Durham出发去那里的Day trip bus http://www.slopeandsail.com/index.htm,但在他家网站上看好像今年没有这项服务了,电话也打不通。不知道有人知道这个bus service今年还有吗，有其他bus去附近的滑雪场吗，谢谢！ |

还有跟bus后面走太近好象bus司机根本看不到后面车啊? |

例如bus绿灯右转，可是右边道路有等红灯的小车，就可能出现冲突．
所以我一般红灯路口停车，离中间黄线远点＋离stop一定距离，给转来的bus留出空间
bus很厉害，有时跟其他车并排开就３０厘米距离，水平还是很高 |
