I would consider the following.
1. Generally small companies are busier than large ones.
2. Make sure your offer contains OT or not. If not, be prepared you very
likely will be VERY busy. Companies that pay OT usually do not have you work
too much, for budget.
3. Nowadays, way more hedge funds on the market than PE (80:20?). Think
about your long term career.

they're just busier (writing papers, not necessarily busier thinking).

whenever someone publishes 200+(in quantity), i have a question mark raised. not about their abilities, but
about their tastes.

They believe using cloud will cut cost since they don't need to buy hardware
and incur big upfront cost; in reality, it may cost more if resource is not
allocated properly since on-demand rate is very high compared with
provisioned resource. Infrastructure/network/storage team will resist since
it will make their job partially gone. Software team is busier since the
performance varies a lot. |

normal for him/her to respond to your request late. You need to ask him/her
several times. As for that he/she replied other emails quickly, it's because
his/her interest is in there. It takes a few hours for him/her to write an
objective letter for you, although I suppose he/she knows your work very
well. A few hours is a big trunk of time so any one is not able to do this
right after your request. |

the runway, the greater the traffic. Also depends if the house is near the take-off direction,-- planes make lots of noise during takeoff.
usually small airport has lots of jet planes, if you see lot of hangars inside the airport, then most of them are jets for recreational purpose, old jet planes are noise, and they also tend to haver around a lot, it will be busier during weekend morning.

If it is Eb2 while your previous one is Eb3, worth to do it. As long as you
got the greencard, you can switch back to corporate. It is always easy to
launch a job from public to private.
KP's manager is busy, much busier than private's manager. I am not sure if
you've ever been in big four, but you will sacrifice a lot your leisure time
when working there.
