UC是自己的pension计划。除此之外还可以存403B和457， 各17500每年。但是学校没有
match。

现在的plan （2013 tier）对发放的退休金没有上限。也就是说，你的公式计算出来是
多少，就拿多少。假设某教授退休金计算出来是15万，那退休后就每年拿15万。
新的plan （2016 tier)对退休金有一个强制上限，就是加州公务员Calper的退休金上
限。今年这个上限是11万左右吧。不管按公式计算出来是多少，不能超过11万。对工资
高于这个数的同学们来说，这个区别可太大了。 |

name a few) but failed to find a better one, the one comparable one is the
CALPERS one offered by CalState system, and their highest earning is based
on one year, quite amazing.
If you do have a better one, please share it with us. I am very interested

我自己快到退休年龄，这20年来听了很多准备回中国退休的，但这些人现在快70了，还
在美国呆着呢。里面有个很重要的原因：年纪轻的时候，很多人对医疗质量不是很注意
，到了年纪大了，这个问题太重要了，你遇到要住院开刀的情况，你就明白两者的区别

新来的pension不如旧的好，但是实际上也很不错了。还有401k，457b，和CalPers的
health。
但是你做accountant恐怕常常会被furlough，至少又是5％的paycut。
State的福利比Fed的好，但工资低一些，所以总体差不多。从前Fed没有furlough过，
现在也难说了。 |

既然你比普通护士，那好。本科毕业20出头工作两年，随随便便 100K+ base, 加上8周
假期，退休福利，工作保障，你说值多少？
看看资源自由配置，人才充分自主选择自由竞争的中国，普通护士和资深归功的比价是
多少。

1是跟体制内的人比工资，估算人家每年积累的退休福利就价值归功工资的一半了。到
退休临界点体制内的人退休福利折价能到200w的狠新鲜么--自己去calpers 网站看看人
家的各种plan. 没吃过猪肉也看看猪跑不是。顺便问一下，您的401K 涨到哪儿了？
2是动不动就把捅妓局搬出来。说我们归功是top 多少多少percent. 草，那是为了收你
税的。 人家赚的少的光拿福利就够吃够喝了。 人两个孩子大学4年不交学费党给生活
费，总值40几万，顶你干半辈子的。（其实是归功给人家小孩付生活费） 人房子不付
贷款没事儿你每月吭哧吭哧撑着。 |
