， 就怕你会更觉得别扭，甚至后悔选f，而不是去了g。我在g做过，但是更喜欢f的
campus，所以就稍微说两句我自己的感觉，供你参考一下。
－－ 你说的是“MPK classic"那片楼群。我觉得这个是应该的，要不然楼群
中狭小的空地和那条干道上都会有很多游客，员工到任何一栋楼去还要再刷卡，很不方
便。还有安全隐患。
－－ 这个就像买牛仔裤，有人喜欢崭新的，有人喜欢水磨的仿旧的带洞洞的
文化 - move fast, stay hungry, 等等 start up spirit. 新楼B20 也是这种风格，
我带去参观的都大赞，包括国内的一线公司的高管，很羡慕这种风格，说他们那些办公
楼都太奢侈了，阻碍创新精神。
－－ 这片楼群是从Sun买的，不好改lay out。公司装修时请了Disney设计团
队，所以主干道完全是Disney Main Street 风格，两边咖啡馆饭馆gift shops, ice

campus to give presentations. Many of these firms recruit only undergraduates,
but some of the representatives said they would help forward my resume to
departments in need of Ph.D.s for quant positions. I am not sure how effective
this kind of forwarding can be. Is it better than using headhunters? I was
told many headhunters won't represent me if I have delivered my resume to many

现在真心觉得自己准备不足.而且表现的不professional, 感觉上次自己太想跟
interviewer和公司里其他人套近乎, 而忘了be professional. 另外问了很多没有挑战
性的问题, 估计让人家感到我很幼稚...面后也没有积极的写thank note.
这次真心希望能先通过一面.我们学校就我没找到工作了, 其他的不管美国人还是国际
学生都有offer了..真是太让我感到没底气, 太压抑了...
下周一还有考far, 我还要每天抽出8个小时照顾我那8个多月的宝宝..又在为interveiw
找工作的事发愁...我快疯了. |

在宝宝版求祝福就很灵验。今天轮到我了。 不知道板上多少在生物或化学口水深火热
中磨练着博士和博士后的。 我总觉得对工作投入太多，愧对自己的宝宝。 所以昨天我
对宝宝说，“妈妈下周面试了，如果拿到工作，就有钱给你买很多大车（我家宝是车迷
）， 还有更多时间和你玩了。” 宝宝很激动，叽哩咕噜发表了一段2分钟的演说，我
也没听懂他说什么，总之是”要大车，宝宝说行，妈妈说不行.... blabblah" 然后他
天真的问我：“妈妈，什么是面试啊？”
anyway, 万能的宝宝版，bless我吧。 周三面试的地方是我特别特别想去的，那的同事
都是非常重视家庭的人。但这是我有生以来第一次on campus，昨天焦虑得都嘴里起泡
了，唉唉。

发帖数: 593 | 19 我现在是头大啊。娃眼看着就要上preschool了，今年想9月份入学。家住fremont附近
。那里有两间Stratford school campus, 一个是在Curtis street, 一个是在Fremont
Blvd（这个比较新，才建成没两年）前一个久一些。
虽然里面印度孩子剧多，但是也没有办法，因为离家近些，想送去palo alto上学，但
是开了两次去看校园，就觉得路途遥远，而且堵车时段十分痛苦，如果是在rush hour.
寻思着还是送离家近一点的吧，大人孩子都少受点苦。
这两个Fremont的校园都去看过，看起来差不多，都是印度孩子暴多，老师也有印度老
师。但是我想老师的好坏还是有差别的吧。
想上来问问大家，有没有送娃去这里的？或者听说过这方面的经历的？要是有，能说说
你们的感受吗？想送娃去私立，因为我的校区不好，只能送私立。没有办法的事。

发帖数: 388 | 20 女儿明年就要上K了，现在在little flower。感觉小姑娘还挺聪明的，学东西很快，但
不是很自觉，需要push着才能好好学。家边上的公校，其实还不错，老美的邻居都跟我
说很好很好。
但是，对公校最大的concern就是需要父母做volunteer。其实academic的东西早学晚学
一年，我们也不是很在乎。就是听说，公校在分班的时候，父母做了多少volunteer是
很重要的一个考虑因素。
想到这就头大，我们两个双职工，平时都忙的要死，真的没办法抽很多时间去做义工。
听说很多印度妈妈都是stay at home，所以整天都在学校做义工，这样，我们的孩子不
是要受“排挤‘么？
哎，版上有父母送这个campus么？可以帮忙说说里面的情况么？
1）老师大部分是印度裔？口音严重么？
2）印度学生多是肯定，大致比例多少？
3）自己的孩子作为少数，在那样一个大部分都是印度学生+印度老师的环境中，有没有
什么不适应？
4）今后的计划是怎样的尼？一直私校下去or后期转会公立？啥时候准备转回公立？
5）fremont school distinct 还有gift program么？
