liver cancer and whether is hepatic primary or metastatic would be helpful,
assume he had hepatocellular carcinoma from hep C, and maybe he had upper gi
bleed from either esophageal or gastric varices from portal hypertension
from cirrhosis from hep C, the outlook is not very good,
if it's metastatic disease with solitary hepatic mets sometimes they could
consider chemo embolization, |

why we need to carefully stage each patient and offer the treatment
appropriate to that stage. Both over and under treatments are bad.
BTW, your doctor probably mentioned already, you should stay away from
smoking, alcohol abuse, and hot tea/water (something culturally unique to
Chinese). |

母亲去年9月份确诊子宫颈癌IIa期，10月化疗11月手术切除宫颈，附件及淋巴结，术后
放疗10周。手术后恢复不错。
上周去复查，医生说淋巴结又有活动。
手术是在中国最好的肿瘤医院做的，这才不到三个月就又出问题，不知道是不是中国的
治疗水平有问题。
请问美国在治疗早期子宫颈癌上水平是不是比中国高很多？我可不可以把妈妈接到没过
来治疗？我还是学生，我妈的治疗可以买另外的保险cover么？谢谢。

scheduled an operation two weeks from now to remove the tumor, and what we
need to prepare for the operation. He also hand out an little brochure
titled "bladder cancer for newly diagnosed" for us to read at home. |

发帖数: 111 | 15 妈妈四月家乡体检发现左上肺磨玻璃阴影（GGO,Ground glass opacity)，约1.5cm,无
任何其他症状。
60岁，从不吸烟，家庭成员无吸烟。
五月在上海肿瘤医院薄层CT,发现两肺更多结节。穿刺怀疑肺腺癌。未发现远端转移。
五月底对左肺的三个结节作了契形切除wedge resection，手术后石蜡病理报告如下。
基本上是“双肺多发性肺腺癌，以肺泡细胞癌为主”。
分子检测 EFFR 未见肯定突变。
医院多学科会诊不建议术后的放化疗，建议3个月后CT随访。
目前手术后两个半月，偶有干咳，无痰，无发烧。生活卖菜做饭可以自理。
请问
1）是否需要进行术后辅助化疗adjvant chemotherapy？什么方案比较有用。
2) 有什么中药或者中医有效？
3）我想接妈妈到美国生活，她只有B2 VISA，有什么办法给她买保险？
4）有在cancer center工作的朋友吗？请推荐哪些专家在这个领域比较擅长阿？

MD Anderson可不便宜，人家是for profit hospital，搞不好刷刷的25万就去了。
breast cancer很常见，只要不是很复杂的病情，methodist hospital也可以治疗嘛，
好歹是non-for profit的
你要是别的医生没辙了去找MD Anderson的专家也可以 |

问题是，这个药挺贵，从香港买的，每片300多人民币，他想让我帮问问美国便宜些不
，可不可以从美国买；一直吃的话负担不起
我放狗搜了下，好像一些online pharm是~$40一片，稍便宜些，也不知道正规店多少钱
ZYTIGA是处方药？这样子是不是我不可能帮亲戚买？

signet ring cell cancer。PET/CT结果还没出来。
医生的方案是先化疗缩小区域，然后手术切除，最后再化疗。他说这种癌容易扩散，所
以先化疗。
请教是，这个方案合理吗？ 先期化疗三个月会影响预后吗？ 因为据说这个胃印戒细胞
癌对化疗不敏感呀。

隔段时间复查就好。跟真正癌变差得太远了，也不影响生孩子。
人身体里时不时有癌变细胞的，一般自我调控就去掉了。 |

是所有的癌症都一样。浅表的，可以接触到空气的，预后都不错的。
