Bryce canyon在整段旅程中是个亮点，标志性的红色石林嵌在皑皑白雪中，庄重而不失
可爱。极目眺望可见远方的雪原，更烘托出红色的鲜艳。这是个可以单凭驾车走走停停
就可以看个大概的地方，所有的景点都集中在峡谷东侧。我们先趁着日色柔和的机会拜
访了Sunrise point，Sunset point，Inspiration point和Bryce point。这些景点沿

3/25 加州民主党西非裔党团声称要在参众两院成立一个commission去调查SCA5提案牵
涉的大学招生，入学和防止在校生流失等问题。commission 是顾问性质的（advisory
）, 因此其成员是指定的，开会也不用记录，完全有暗箱操作的嫌疑。
普通人很难区分开commission(非公开)和committee(公开)的概念的。而此时，以

路线：从Dead Horse Point出来，向左，回到UT313上，开5mile左右就到了
Canyonlands。从Canyonlands到Capitol Reef最近的距离是回到US191北上，然后上
I70W，在I70和UT24交界处，转向南上UT24。UT24东西向穿过Capitol Reef。
距离：～200 miles
住宿：Camping. Capitol Reef 东边40 mile左右的一个叫做Hanksville的小镇有
一家餐馆，兼营campground。名字叫Red Rock Restaurant and Campground，接受电话

优点： 1. 交通方便， 尤其是2006年从downtown 到 capitol hill的light rail 开通
后, 可直达机场
2. 离DOWNTOWN 和 AMAZON 都很近， 坐车或走路也就 15-20分钟
3. Lowell小学很好， 有seattle唯一的天才班
4. nice neiborhood， trendy place
缺点： 中国人比较少; 房价比较贵。
我建议：你可以先买个1-bedroom or 2-bedroom condo. 等孩子读中学， 再转到
bellevue读中学， 然后把这个condo租出去。
我自己（有小孩）就住在capitol hill, 非常喜欢， 并且投资了一个condo（非常好租）

钓鱼岛位于中国东海，周围海域面积约为17万平方公里。
钓鱼岛是中国固有领土，中国对于钓鱼岛及附属岛屿拥有无可争辩的主权。钓鱼岛最早
由中国人发现、命名和利用，至少在600年前的明朝时就在中国海防管辖范围之内，自
明、清朝始已经对钓鱼岛有实质控制。日本在中日甲午战争期间，违反国际法暗自霸占
了钓鱼岛。
日本在二战战败后无条件投降，接受《波茨坦公告》及该公告所重申的《开罗宣言》。
《开罗宣言》中承诺将“台湾、澎湖列岛等”在《马关条约》中割让的土地归还中国，
其后的《波茨坦公告》明确规定将日本的主权限制在本州、北海道、九州和四国以及其
它由签署国暨战胜国美国、中国、英国所决定的小岛。
1971年美国与日本签署协定，并于1972年将钓鱼岛列岛的行政管辖权随同琉球管治权一
起交还于日本（但美国政府迄今也未承认日本对该群岛的主权宣称）。中国政府随即开

旅馆的阳台正对着Capitol Reef National Park。面对满眼的红石，终于开始感觉视觉
疲倦。看到别人说Capitol Reef 没有其他的国家公园好。大概是因为Capitol Reef 的
地理位置比较尴尬，在Utah的中部，很多人都选择从西到东，或是从北到南，没有人刻
意从中部往两边走的。看过两头的红石，再看Capitol Reef的红石，难免觉得平凡无奇
了。
我们直接开去Scenic Drive。大概是前阵子下了暴雨，山体有些滑坡，有人在路边设了
路障。路很窄，如果是第一次看到，应该还是蛮新奇的。从Scenic Drive出来，无意中
回头一看，才看到一个stop sign，停下来看了看，才发现那里设置了一个小收票箱，
游客自发地把门票装到一个信封放到信箱里。

首先，四月中西南的天气非常好。极端天气的可能性一年四季都会有，但是四月中说实
话真的是上半年最好的时候了，除了海拔高的比如Bryce晚上还有点冷以外，其他地方
都很好，仙人掌花大朵大朵的开。但是我同意回帖中有人提到的计划一定要灵活，这个
对有老有小要提前订旅馆的确实有难度，但是起码在时间上要留一些弹性。7-8天要想
串遍五个国家公园还加上周围的大小景点我觉得还是比较紧的，因为南边的两个和东边
的两个离得稍微有些远，中间一个Capitol Reef又两头都不挨。建议还是做一下取舍，
不刻意求全，西南是值得一去再去的。
是环线还是one-way，我觉得主要取决于去不去东边的Arches和Canyonlands。如果不去
，建议环线，如果去，不论是从Moab直接回SLC还是绕一下Capitol Reef再去SLC都比较
快。
Bryce用不了一整天，半天（建议是日出和上午）就可以了。Sunset Point看日出，然
后直接下去走Navajo Loop，回到上面再开车看看其他viewpoint，半天正好。

reinstall a constituent’s controversial painting depicting police officers
as animals to the Capitol complex, prompting Clay to announce he will appeal

限：
美版小天使主要由 Capitol代工生产，其声音差强人意主要是两个原因导致的。首先是
70年代石油危机导致美国生产线大幅压缩成本采用了劣质塑料，使本来底躁就大的美版
黑胶更加雪上加霜。第二个原因是Angel的定位为廉价倾销版，因此提供给压片场的母
带质量非常不稳定，有些质量尚可，但是大多数是倒了几手的劣质母带，再加上
Capitol为弥补母带的不足做了激进的音效处理使得声音更加不自然。
不过对于自己的艺人Capitol倒是没有胡来，像米尔斯坦的两张巴赫协奏曲就是在美国
录制，想必有理由相信是用了第一手的母带，而且胶质明显不错，声音鲜活生动。由于
我没有SAX版，上述只是我的猜测，望大家一同求证。 |

这次Memorial Weekend专门去了一次。觉得还不错。
(好多人会说这个地方有啥好玩的还能呆三天。。汗。。)
去的路上经过Normal/bloomington 或者Decatur.
各有一个ASTC的children museum.
我们早上出发。上午去了Normal的Children Museum
中午找了地方在bloomington lunch.
吃完，娃们上车睡觉。开到springfield
先到Illinois State Military Museum
1301 North MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, IL
不大的Museum.但是可以带娃一逛。
然后到Old capitol对面的韩战博物馆。也是很Tiny.
但是看到美国对抗美援朝的另一面看法。
(我严重怀疑里面一张蒋介石的照片用错了。。)
然后去酒店，swiming pool , dinner不表。。
第二天。
先去Carpenter park hiking.
地方还行。。可惜就是蚊虫太多。。:(
