16" barrel can utilize both carbine gas and mid length gas system
The closer the gas port is to the chamber, the higher the force that is
applied to the bolt.
By lengthening the gas system with mid length, the bolt and receiver
lifespan is somewhat increased and the felt recoil is slightly dampened.

不知道你说的＂随便一个semiauto shotgun, 8 发， 枪管18.5. 打到渣都不剩＂依据
从何而来．首先容弹量，不加extend tube的我没看到那个枪能装这么多（KSG和UTS我
说过了，那俩除外）．我自己的rem ８７０加了wilson combat的tube，也只能装７发
３＂shot shells，２．７５＂的也许能多装一发，但那个弹丸数少很多．至于打到渣
都不剩，你是好莱坞电影看多了吧，００Buck确实后座比鸟蛋猛，打纸箱子也显得很厉
害，但也就是相当于几发手枪弹罢了，更何况还要命中的前提下．一发miss之后让对方
躲到cover后面shoot back的话，shotgun恐怕都很难有第二次机会了，可怜的容弹量也
会变得很明显。无论是pump shot还是semi auto，影响射速的都是后座抑制，射速和
carbine比起来差得远，除非你不在乎打到天花板上．另外不知道你说的枪管长度意义
何在？是说太长在屋子里不灵活么？如果是为了配合你说＂打到渣都不剩＂，那很抱歉
，这个是滑膛枪，不需要靠管子加速．

气长度越短 导气管里压力就高，枪机受到的推力就高， 对机匣， 枪机等零件的损耗
就快， 可感后座大， 枪机闭膛的时候还会跳动（这只在全自动射击时有影响）。
16寸枪管应该是mid length导气
14.5寸枪管才应该是carbine length
16配carbine length gas = over gas
从dwell time(弹头在枪管里前进时， 从导气孔走到枪口这段时间）上来分析， 20"
rifle gas是AR15最初， 最标准也是最稳定的配置， dwell time是0.184 ms
16" mid length gas也是0.181 ms, 非常理想的dwell time.
14.5" carbine是0.206 ms, 没差太多

查到了这个，在韩战中，美军采用“双枪制”：两人配合，一个打，一个压满子弹等着
；等到“砰”一声弹夹弹出，对方露头时，压满子弹的那个就正好开火。

考虑16的可以考虑18
18可以可靠的上rifle length gas system(RLFS)，17也可以，但17基本全是定制的，
拿18或20的管子锯短些，17现货一般没得买。18上的gas system比较多了些，有mid
length, intermediate length和rifle length，从后坐舒适性还有零件磨损性来讲，
rifle length最好，但市场上不是很多见，BCM(Bravo Company Mfg)的18 upper都是
rifle length，质量非常高，可以看看。
18的初速比16高一些，存速也大，可以比较有效对付较远目标，特别是配合重些弹头使
用(如77gr OTM的Mk 262子弹)。Navy的Mk12 SPR就是这个用途。近战，看家，一两百码
打猎，SHTF等不一定需要18，其实16的AR对付三四百码之外的目标镜子配好了也可以.
18的份量要重些，可以考虑不用四面全长导轨，而是像Mk12上碳素纤维护木加3/6/9短
导轨。

加，零件冲击磨损加剧，射速提高，供弹弹簧容易跟不上，后座加剧，反正没有一件是
好事。
常见的AR导气管长度是carbine, mid, intermediate, rifle。没算更短的pistol
length，最短的和最长的两种导气管内压力可以差整整一倍。
carbine length实际上最初是为短管11.5英寸卡宾设计的，用在14.5寸枪管的M4上已经
算不理想了，用在16英寸枪管上那就更... 16英寸枪管上用mid length对降低零件磨损
和改善后座都有好处。
18英寸的枪管现在用intermediate或rifle length
20英寸的枪管用rifle length
Noveske给MSTN(Mid-South Tactical Network)定制了一批intermediate length的16英
寸枪管，也就是比mid length导气管更长，据说比mid length用起来更加smooth。不过

to have a close look at a brand new 9 mm carbine at local gun shop. The
price is $335.
The fit and finish is not very impressive, which is expected for a cheap
domestic weapon. The gun is pretty heavy and the weight distribution is not

之所以逆时针走的原因是小飞机只能定在14号。正好在我们行程的中间。而钓鱼要放在

This little gem tops my list because I used it almost exclusively as my deer
hunting rifle for about two decades. Although this model is no longer being
manufactured, I just had to include it because of my long and pleasant
history with this rifle. With its handy carbine length and the hard-hitting
44 Rem Mag cartridge, this is an excellent gun for brush use at ranges out
to 100 yards or so.

m4是xm177的近亲。m4是select fire carbine meaning safe-semi-burst
m4a1是full auto carbine meaning safe-semi-full
m4的gas tube要比m16的短很多。
m4是ar15的衍生。

to be honest, semi-auto AKs are really novelty guns, unless it's a full auto
and you're about to go on a guerrilla warfare against the feds or something

if you want to hunt deer, go with a 7.62x39 or .308 carbine bolt action.
7.62x39 can take down a deer with the right ammo (and shooting at the right
place).
so a good hunting rifle would be like a CZ 527 carbine. it's light, easy to

I suggest light weight AR15 kit from del-ton. It is lighter and as accurate
as M4 or HBAR profile carbine.
I bought a model1 sales light weight barrel from midwayusa and assembled a
carbine from it. It holds 1 MOA all the time. The gun is 5.5lbs w/o mag. The barrel
is made by E.R. Shawn. This is another good choice if you want to assemble
one.
