我找FAMILY CARE的时候有3个来源。
1. GOOGLE + CITY NAME + FAMILY CARE/DAY CARE
2. 加州政府的RESOURCES AND REFERRAL SERVICE
3. CRAIGSLIST
用1找到一部分FAMILY CARE后，我就开始打电话。主要关注2个问题，
一，他们是否有LICENSE，而，他们是否有2个OPENINGS。就一家家面试
去了。大约面试了4-5家。通过和他们的交流，知道了一些信息。比如
说有LICENSE也未必保证他们一定是好的FAMILY CARE。因为加州只有在
拿到LICENSE前的检查比较严格，拿到后，只有换地址或者有人举报时候才
会来查了。但是如果加入了加州的什么NUTRITION PROGRAM，因为加州
政府要倒贴钱给他们，所以他们一年会来几次抽查。这样更能保证他们的
服务。有一家说，没有人会不愿意拿免费的钱，除非那家FAMILY CARE
有猫腻。（当然，她的话有些偏执，因为我后面面试的一家说有些家长
不太喜欢政府的人，大意是说政府的人也会去骚扰家长问卷调查啥的。

这句口头禅随时随地都用得上，随时脱口而出，使用频率比英语为母语的人还高
你跟他说，有个叫Vincent Chin的老中被白人杀了，白人被判无罪。他说:"who cares"
你跟他说，有个电视主持人要杀光中国人，咱们这周六上午去游行，他说:"who cares"
这种琐男，只"care"自己裤裆里那点事，别的什么都不"care"，当然他们自己的事，也
活该没人"care"
正因为这种琐男太多，政治不"care"，选举不"care"，游行示威不"care"，华人怎么可
能有政治地位？华人的历史文化也不"care"，华人社区的建设从何谈起？其他华人受了
歧视迫害，他们也不"care"，那么华人社区还有什么温暖，团结互助从何谈起？
一句"who cares"，就是华人进步的绊脚石。
我建议广大华人同胞，应该在你们当地的华人圈子里做一个甄别工作，留意一下各人的
为人处事，凡是这种"who cares"态度的，一律贴上标签拉进黑名单，大家都不带他们

another doctor from another facility delivered my baby, office A is asking
me to go back to pay copays for those prenatal visits I had in 2011. I read

话说我们送娃去day care，就送了一天，老公就心疼到不行了，晚上跟老公聊天，突然
发现我很白痴，漏想了一个方案。
我隔壁就是个family care，现在3个小孩，一岁半，两岁，三岁。我和娃还三天两头去
玩，娃也比较熟悉了，每次去都很开心，隔壁的人很好，27岁，跟我也蛮有共同语言的
，之前她还经常跟我打自己的广告，我都没在意。
当初没在意的原因是，想着正规的day care有更多的小朋友一起玩；日常安排也感觉更
专业，比如讲故事啊，户外活动啊，听音乐啊，看物识字（单词）啊等等；节日什么的
还有活动。而family care更多的也就是有人帮我看着娃罢了。
但是后来想想，才一岁的娃，能学点啥呀~有几个小朋友一起混混，抢抢玩具，吃好睡
好，开开心心不就够了么?
于是决定不去day care了，直接送隔壁，哭闹了也好说，邻居说直接给我打电话。还是
觉得自己很白痴，有这么得天独厚的环境条件，我之前竟然直接无视了……

肯听我们的。所以很早就计划不要父母带小孩了。我家娃2个月大的时候，我就一直在
找保姆和FAMILY CARE/DAY CARE。后来我妈妈因为面瘫，回国治疗了，我们就提前送小
孩去FAMILY CARE了。我一个朋友说，如果3岁以前一定要送出去，最好送FAMILY CARE
，生病少一些，而且得到的ATTENTION会多一些。我又看看我们这里的FAMILY CARE，还

孩去FAMILY CARE了。我一个朋友说，如果3岁以前一定要送出去，最好送FAMILY CARE
，生病少一些，而且得到的ATTENTION会多一些。我又看看我们这里的FAMILY CARE，还
比较便宜，我的奖学金也可以COVER 2个娃，这样也不会增加我们太多额外的负担。我
也考虑过找保姆，一是我们这里中国保姆找不到，而且我LG说他才不喜欢还要去LA或者
SD接人什么的，二是美国保姆恩，我们试过几个PART-TIME，都一般。一个是朋友推荐
的，人很好，很有耐心，但哄睡喂养都不算好。一个是哄睡挺好的，喂养不太好。一个

发帖数: 1189 | 47 平心而论，我还是很喜欢DAY CARE的，娃在那里也很开心，价钱贵咱就不说了，最悲惨
的就是娃老是病！一开始别人都跟我说，娃娃上DAY CARE会经常病的，每两三个星期就
会病一次。我没在意，因为我家的娃四月上DAY CARE，天气已经很暖和了嘛。
开始一个星期非常好，娃每天都乐呵呵的，好像都不需要适应。到了第二个星期开始感
冒，精神不振，发低烧。然后马上开始咳嗽流鼻涕。马上传染给我，我也开始喉咙痛，
咳嗽流鼻涕。然后又开始拉稀，水样的，每天都要在DAY CARE换一套衣服。我没有拉稀
，感冒一个星期之后就好了。娃娃现在都第3个星期了，拉稀好了，感冒好像严重了。
每天晚上睡觉，他睡下二三十分钟就会哭醒，我就只好抱他哄他，他闹一下，又睡下，
然后二三十分钟后又会哭醒，我再抱再哄，如此反复无数次，直到早上我把他弄醒。我
看主要是鼻塞的问题，他睡下后鼻子很快会堵住，不能呼吸，所以娃就会哭醒。我已经
把他的床抬到一个坡度，抱睡也会二三十分钟后哭醒，房间温度一直在73左右。这样已
经4，5天了，我跟娃爸一个人负责前半夜，一个人后半夜，已经疲惫不堪了。娃娃也可
