捷径，需要平时就多听多看电视听新闻等等；后者的话我一般就放狗搜索。
有一些reference是和当前的时事、政客等等相关的，有一部分是地域和stereotype的笑
话，所以听comedy可以增加对美国的政治经济地理人文种族的了解。
可以先在电脑上听，youtube或者amazon instant video（如果有amazon prime的话），
还有pandora都有听不完的comedy。听的同时可以干别的事情，也可以随时暂停查
reference。另外comedy central网站上也有大量的免费show。
如果不知道听谁的，可以试试这些Chris Rock, Woody Allen, George Carlin, Eddie
Murphy, Russell Peters, Louis CK, Gabriel Iglesias。如果对时事政治感兴趣的可
以在comedy central网站看Jon Stewart和Steven Colbert的节目，不过他们的立场都
很左 |

比以东的居民，却因自来水是来自混浊度最低的高贵林水库，一周来不必像温哥华和本
拿比居民那样过着煮水或买水的苦哈哈日子。
大温区域局（GVRD）首席行政长官卡林纳（Johnny Carline）表示，高贵林水库在
北岸三座水库中卓然不染，并不是因为该水库的土崩次数较少。反之，最近高贵林水库
连续发生30多次坍方，而西摩和卡普兰奴水库只各出现六、七次。但因GVRD西部土质比
东部更细，一旦发生土崩，位于西侧的卡普兰奴和西摩水库泥土就会漂浮在水上，使水
混浊；但位于东侧的高贵林水库，因土质最粗，即使发生土崩，泥土一般会沉淀水底，
不致影响水的清澈度。
据GVRD报告，去年，高贵林水库的混浊度从未超过5.0NTU标准水平，但西摩水库和
卡普兰奴水库却曾因混浊度超标，各关闭一次和三次。目前60％的GVRD饮用水来自高贵
林湖。
