小弟刚收到一个postdoc的offer 想咨询一下各位的建议和single cell RNA seq,
bioinformatics方向在工业界的工作机会
个人背景：
2019 Ph.D. 毕业 方向是biomaterial tissue engineering，主要做的hydrogel based
3D disease modeling 和 biomaterial for bone/cartilage regeneration，bio的技
术学过很多但是大多数是protein 和RNA的表达测试（Western, qPCR, MSD, IF), 没有
很多molecular biology 比如gene editing, cloning, transfection经验。
个人感觉自己不适合faculty，想去工业界，然而专业方向的industry几乎没有，也不
想在这个方向更深入研究因为会更偏离应用，所以想如果博后就强行换方向做一些
disease相关（cancer，neuro）或者bioinformatics掌握编程和数据分析的技术，可是

They won't ask you what kind of cancers. Just want know if you know
histology well.
if u really want to go path, and you better review histology and familiar
frequently seen tissue--skin, smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, cartilage, GI
mucosa, etc.

scientist level的工业界工作，来版上求教过最后去了Biogen的contract岗位，现在
岗位快到期了，再来请教。
跟公司的同事已经领导都聊过了，今年部门缩招，转正是没戏了，而且部门里
scientist level的同事履历都很好，许多年相关经验+postdoc，自己也感觉到了差距。
请教了一些同事和朋友，看了网上的讨论，最终决定争取做一轮industry postdoc，比
较适合fresh增加工作经验并且build connection，目前有如下几个单位/方向可能有戏
，想请各位前辈指点，谢谢！
1. Biogen 做iPSC based ALS/MS model and target validation using the model，
概念比较好理解，感觉上手比较快，不过有点担心成果，PI很年轻也比较有激情

today. I suspect it's some damage to the cartilage below the knee cap due
to wear and tear. Taking triple flex right now.
So you might want to take regular supplement of glucosamine and chondroitin
to extend the mileage.
