This week, a 23-year-old woman, accompanied by a male friend, boarded a bus
on a busy road in the capital at 9 p.m., only to be brutally raped by a
group of men. She was then savagely beaten, stripped and thrown onto the
road. The girl and her friend, who was attacked for trying to protect her,
were returning home after watching a movie. She is battling for life in
hospital, according to her doctors.

发生在美国首都华盛顿当地时间18号早上7：40分的早上的这一事故想必大家都已听说
。相比于飞机和驾车，一向被认为是安全系数最高的列车如今看起来似乎也不那么安全
。美国铁路客运这列Amtrak501列车行驶首航就遭遇了脱轨事故，这个耗资8亿美金的
Cascades High-Speed Rail Capital Program项目中的一部分，如今开来，讽刺的感觉
似乎比安全和快速更具意味。
据悉，这起事故造成的人员伤亡以及交通堵塞问题现在已经逐步解决得到解决。不知美
国是否有问责制度，如果有的话这事故发生之后责任归属以及需要总结和改善的地方的
