avis小Town不同,进了市中心处，你就可以感觉到都市的气息，到处都是闪烁的霓虹灯，
和被这些霓虹灯装饰的高楼，因为市中心不好开车，我们于是把车停在了不远的一个停车
场，大家决定先玩一个小时然后再去找Motel。几乎每一幢building的一楼都是Casino,我
们随便进了一间，并约定一小时在门口集合，于是便分开了。感觉这里的casino概率很小
，我换了20$的quarter去玩老虎机，结果不一会就输光了，其他朋友也都差不多一样，记
得我去年在靠近盐湖城的一个小Town，可是玩了2个多小时才把20$输光。大家人到齐之后
，也就开始找Motel了，很多都满了，因为是周末，而且当时已经是夜里1点多了。后来终
于找到了一家，要了4个房间，大家就分头去睡了。
因为早晨11点要check out,于是9点半多就起来了，收拾了一下，吃了早餐，大家就又去
市中心。白天的景色比夜晚逊色多了，主要是没有灯光的效果，但是casino还是一样的热
闹，我们又开始分头去玩，我的运气并没有好转，很快30多刀 |

赢利的方式不同，就注定了发展的区别。
百家乐主要靠熟客回头客，角子机熟客生客都有。角子机对赌本要求高，经济不好的时
候就很受影响。
百家乐你可以小本去赌，过过瘾。就是在美国这边很多华人老头老太也是带500块钱换
了筹码，然后几手牌才下一次注。走的时候还有几百块在手。这样就保证了客源。
老虎机，现在虽然多了很多PENNY MACHINE，但是还是胃口太大了，现在这种经济环境
，根本吃不消。没人玩，赌场赔钱，就只能在机器上做手脚，降低赢率，这样恶性循环
，玩的人就更少了。
还有一个原因是现在各州财政紧张，就以开新CASINO作为开源手段，VEGAS就难免受到
冲击。机票这么贵，到那输不如在家门口输了。

wasn't the price - printed on the top of the receipt were the words "Fat
Girls".
"I got the bill, I was looking at bill [and] I was like, 'Why does this

to the Wall Street. Yeah, the Wall Street works perfectly and for the good
of the economy, that is why we had the Great Depression and the Great
Recession, right? It is really sad for the society when the brightest and
smartest work for a profession whose payoff is mostly determined by chance (
a less flashy casino, which hires way more people than the real casinos).

reception的小姐一看我是华人,热情的解释我去casino去度过周五的夜晚.
我整理了一下马上进了赌场, 发现这里90%都是华人,普通话,广东话,还有听不懂的中国
话,可能我在赌场呆的还不够久,所以还没有听到上海话. |

，就是30个，一年一千个以上，八年见过几千个老人。
一般来说，美国人身体还是比较皮实的。70来岁的美国人，大部分都挺健康的。一般都
是自理，住家里或是老人公寓。
美国家庭不是我们想象的这样孩子不管老人，事实是，很多孩子都在不同程度的照顾老
人。有的和老人住一起，有的住的很近，每天拜访。当然，没有孩子的那是你自找的，
活该。生病了，孩子会去医院看你，有的陪床照顾你。
住老年公寓的，大都有HOUSE KEEPER，每天帮助你做一些家务活，大部分是政府支助的
，有的是自费。另外有MEAL ON WHEELS这样的组织帮助老人提供食物。ASSIST LIVING
FACILITY，基本都有护士什么的，帮助你拿药发药。每天去屋里看看你。
很多老人不愿住老年公寓，愿意住自己家，特别是白人，这种情况，政府支持的就比较
少，因为你财力上还能自理。黑人华人西人享受政府福利的就比较多。当然白人本身经
济状况就比其他种族好。有的孩子比较孝顺，或是老人自己经济实力不错，可以请私人
