其他的那种高端Sony dvd专业机器没玩过。可是现在，一个iPhone 全灭了。从头到尾
就没啥机械的事情。你说日本能不低迷吗。以前家里至少要有照相机，摄像机，
cassette, 等等非常精细的电器。现在好了，看媒体就是一个智能电视，出门一个手机
，包括车上也不用cd,cassette 。哎，再也没有办法哈日了。只能买日本车。结果又出
来个tesla. 本来日本车靠实力说话，一个4万元不到的civic，MBA全部车型没一个跑的
过。只有Porsche Ferrari 的高端车才行。结果非要搞出tesla。还只有4万元。

Several observations/issues I discovered when building it. These issues are
more or less specific to small frames.
* Triple到double的转换没有什么问题，shifter(105)和FD(105)都没有换。值得注意
的是FD的调节比triple难一些，因为变成double以后inner ring管后面6个cog，两边都
不蹭的话要调的特别合适。如果实在调不好有俩办法，一是trim，但是我比较picky，
不希望给LD增加复杂度，用double本来就是奔着简单来的。另外一个就是在FD cage开
口的螺丝上加个washer，把FD cage加宽一点。我 |

off the teeth or the freehub slipping when it should be engaged? in other
words, when you are pedaling, is there relative motion between the chain and
the cassette, or between the freehub and the rear hub shell? nail down the
cause before you drop down the coin.
again, it's highly unlikely that with less than 2k miles you can deform the
cassette teeth to the point of slipping. it takes many stretched chains to

Yes, the cassette and freehub stuck. I don't know how it happens. Since I
don't have the chain tool, I have to go to a local bike shop to see what
happened.
I went to one bike shop yesterday, they asked me 299 as part replacement. I
just turned them down directly. |

swap in the crankset. You may
need to change (shorten) the chain length a bit. you only need a set of
Allen keys.
cassette: cassette ($60) and/or longer arm rear derailleur ($60?). needs a
special tool ($6). |

这未来几天看起来都要下雨没法骑了. 不过上次order的SRAM APEX的cassettes/rear
derailiuer都到了. 趁这个空档, 把SRAM Force的扒下来, 装上APEX的. 原本的链条自
然也不够长, 换了个KMC的. 简单试了下换档还算利索, 就是50/32的combo怎么也调不
顺. 估计一般也用不到, 就懒得继续调了. 在这前50-34, 后11-32的setup, 放在road
bike上看起来怪怪的. 花了一百刀就是为了把后cassette从28升到32. 希望DMD的时候
能派上用场. 0 mile. |

the SRAM Apex RD the only compatible RD to their new 11-32T cassette? I saw
SRAM have 12-32T option too so maybe that’s will be a better choice for
long climb? If the 50T-32T combo didn’t work very well in your adjustment,
is it because the low limit screw in the RD didn’t adjusted properly? I was
just guessing.

cassette is 11-32, just meet the capacity. I plan to change cassette to 11-
34, 2 teeth over rear derailleur capacity. I searched internet. Many people
say no problem. I think so, too.
Anybody here tried it, over rear derailleur capacity?

你最划算的的变化就是只换10速11-28t的cassettes+10速链条。两样都是全新的话$70
大概可以搞定。链条和cassettes都是消耗品，没必要买旧的。
你如果一定要上11-32t，traditional 9速Shimano MTB RD就可以了。Shimano有新的10
速MTB RD (Dyna-sys)，不要用，跟你105的shifter不兼容。 |

To install modern Shimano bottom bracket, a single $20 BBT-9 park tool will
be enough. You also need cassette lockring removal tool and chain whip to
install cassette. You need all these tools anyway for future maintenance. So
the money spent on these tools won't be wasted.
Headset installation tools is a different story, but you can install headset
without these specialty tools.
That's it, assuming you don't build wheels. |

，triple的crankset我觉得调整起来比较麻烦，front derailleur不是特别好调准确（
也可能是我技术不行……）。公路车50/34的crankset加上11-28的cassette应该是足够

楼主讲的Jamis Ventura Comp，我看了那个网页，全车的配置并不是Tiagra套件，最重
要的－Cassette SRAM PG-950 9-Speed 11-26T
如果是我，看到9速的cassette基本不考虑。因为几乎没有升级的可能性。以后找合适
的零件，维护等等都是麻烦事。
现在公路车换季就快到了，不妨多找找别的选项。 |

所以要升級換成10速，cassette和shifter,chain必須同時還，除非3個同時壽命到期否
則你會丟一個或者2個 cassette便宜些倒是，30塊的樣子吧 鍊子10多塊
或者用alternative routing暫時先換shifter
不過9速也很不錯了幹嘛要升級啊 |

先是发现换档skip，就是换好档后，用力蹬一下或几下后，脚下一空，好像是又回去一
档。自己调不好，跑到performance bike，让他们调，他们发现derailleur hanger不
正，给我扳正了，然后调了一下shift，告诉我chain已经strech了，要换chain，最好
把cassette也换了。我拿回家，自己换了chain和cassette，自己调了一下shift，发觉
还是不行，就又拿回performance bike，让他们调，同时让他们把shift和brake的
cables给换了。调好后，觉得还行，但是这个周末骑得稍微长一点，skip的毛病又回来
了，当然比过去是要好一些。
大家看看这是什么问题。是不是performance水平不行，要不要换一家店试试？ |

发帖数: 43 | 30 四个星期前决定开始练 Road Bike, 经LD批准拨款1000大洋 购买设备. 摸摸不够饱满
的钱袋,我打算到 Craigslist 上碰碰运气. 经过几天搜索,锁定一辆 2007 年 GIANT
TCR C3. 讨价还价以后以 800刀 成交.
有两个问题需要 fix
1. 买一对踏板.
2. 原车主身高与我差不多, 但手臂比我长 1／2" 所以我要把以前 120 mm stem 换成
60 mm
换好后试骑非常满意. 美中不足的是上坡不够力. 于是开始第二次折腾.
为了参加 6/28 米姐提议的 Mt Hamilton 笨鸟组. 星期五晚连夜开始修车.
主要问题是在 drivetrain !!!
经过三小时的努力. 完成以下工作.
1. 36t 的 chainring 换成 34t 的, 顺便把 50t 的也换成新的.
2. 换新链条.
3. 12-26 cassette 换成 11-34．这样一来最小齿轮比是34:34 = 1:1
4. 配合 cassette rear derailleur 换成 长臂的 (Shimano M591)

you can buy some better cassette or just shoot some more and let it break
in.
R1 is super value in my view. the fitting worth well over 1K 1911s. My R1
after polishing the rail, it's the smoothest 1911 I have.
if you are not shooting p+ amo, change to a 14 pound recoil spring and a
lighter mainspring, then enjoy it.....
it's different felling from colt when you slid it...subjective.

Make sure the primers you were using can tell you if they are amplifying
your gene locus, not the targeting cassette.
