象也没有什么可玩的。下次可以去Toyota瞅瞅。从Mammoth Cave再向南不远有个Corvette
Museum，大家也可以去看看。从Louisville向西不到一个小时有个Merango Cave，再向西
一点有个Patoka Lake。还是Natural Bridge和Daniel Boone National Forest一带比较
好玩一点，可惜离我们还挺远的。
偶尔跟朋友去蓉园吃饭，总觉得不远万里开过去就吃顿饭，有点不值，各位在Lexington |

发帖数: 177 | 5 Lassen 火山公园位于加州北部，风景比不上其它的国家公园，但是却拥有独特的火山
地貌。一直有前往游玩的念头，
这次乘着放假无所事事，决定用一天时间来实地考察一下Lassen火山公园。
出发前，在网上粗略的研究了一下。比较有意思的景点有Cinder cone，Painted Dune
，
Subway Cave，Bumpass Hell trail。Cinder cone和Painted dune 不在公园里面，
在一个叫Butte Lake的campground 附近。大概的方位地图是这样的。
计划是先爬cinder cone，再去subway cave， 然后再走bumpass hell trail。
早上4点半出门，开了N个小时，到达了目的地，butte lake campground 停车场。途中
景色一般，只记得日出时候刚好经过一大片向日葵田，还有点意思。
从buttelake trailhead 开始大概走了1.5mile 来到Cinder Cone 脚下
Cinder Cone 是个比较小的火山，高230米，最近的爆发是1650年。熔岩向南流下形成

发帖数: 17566 | 7 随着秋意渐浓，又开始怀念科罗拉多的黄叶了。正好上个周末有空，查了下Aspen那里
也差不多是Peak了，于是决定故地重游。
星期六一早坐早班飞机从洛杉矶直飞丹佛，拿好车后便沿着70号公路向Vail出发。出城
没多久，就看见高速边上的山坡上出现了一片片金黄的Aspen，在蓝天白云的衬托下显
得非常的亮丽。
中午时候到了Vail。Vail是一个非常著名的滑雪胜地，情致的小城充满了浓郁的欧洲风
情。

在Vail吃过午饭后，沿着70号公路继续西行，不多时就到了以温泉出名的Glenwood
Springs。 这次去的是这家以Vapor Cave 出名的 Yampah Hot Springs

先泡温泉，然后进到Cave 来个天然的蒸汽桑拿。在昏暗的灯光下，透过带着浓浓硫磺
味的水蒸气，可以看见很多坐着，躺着的大白物。
Glenwood Springs有很多泡温泉的地方。另外一个人去的比较多的是Glenwood
Springs Hot Springs。那个实际上就是一个露天的大游泳池。

发帖数: 4624 | 10 Badlands其实是清晨和傍晚景色不错。特别是你想照相的话。另外半天时间够了。
一天在Mount Rashmore Natl Memorial和Wind Cave Natl Park，CrazyHouse等优点紧
。其实山里的州立公园也不错（Custer Park），特别是要hiking的话。
个人觉得Wind Cave不是那么有趣，反而是Deveils Tower不错，有特点。

City 一进门，不注意就错过了。很深，可以装下自由女神像，非常神奇，还有一个
地下瀑布。

冰岛夏季比冬季好看，颜色更丰富些
除了极光，温泉，还有火山，可以进到活火山里面，瀑布，地热现象，冰川hiking,攀
冰，狗拉雪橇，黑沙滩，渔村，冰湖，它的horseback riding也很出名。冰岛马是很特
别的品种。
当然我最感兴趣的还是Ice cave
Ice Cave必须冬天才行，应该说1，2月份比较稳定，它们每年都在不同的地方形成

发帖数: 1096 | 21 有同学发信问那里好玩不，都有些什么，带父母小孩去玩是否适合。我想干脆回在这里
，也给其它可能有兴趣的朋友一个参考。
我自己觉得Hocking Hills state park还是不错的，在中西部一马平川一望无际的玉米
地里也算景色宜人的去处了，挺适合一家人度假休闲的。你别把它和西部的国家公园比
就好。
整个公园有6个“景点”，开车应该都可以到，见下面这个链接：http://www.thehockinghills.org/hiking.htm
我们去主要是走走trail的，就去了old man's cave那一带。trail挺好走的，腿脚利索
的老人小孩应该都可以。当然山路毕竟不是马路，不可能处处平坦。old man's cave下
去不远是lower fall，还有不少小孩在水塘里玩水，看上去很开心。不过Cedar fall那
里现在就没水了，没什么好看的。所以我想可能选春秋天水大的时候去更好玩些。
zipline除非是比较年轻的老人或比较大的孩子，不然还是算了。我们那一组里倒真有
一家祖孙3代的，孩子10来岁吧。 |

地方看看，做个缆车看看。假如你去了Oregon Cave和红木公园以后有时间就用GPS先去

有机会去看了一下感觉不错大家要是信佛的话不妨去看看，一路的风景也很漂亮。万佛

她们没有跑到冰洞里，而是站在边上。冰块滑下来的时候有人大喊，大家都在逃跑。但
是小女孩估计吓坏了，没有来得及跑掉，杯具。
看来以后去要特别小心山坡上的冰雪。

从nashville去manmath cave的路上在Bowling Green还有个lost river cave,
是地下河，可是没有去过。 Bowling Green的那个GM的corvette装配厂也

发帖数: 3902 | 34 三点旅馆才能check-in，只好（周六）下午出发，半路在一个wendy's随便吃点垫垫肚
子，不得不说，卫生实在不咋地，吃饭的地方有苍蝇飞来飞去的，厕所呛人，不敢接触
门和洗手池。。。
到了旅馆（同样的旅馆比nashville的贵多多多），儿子没用抱着，自己往房间跑，为
娘我很欣慰。然后去了 chattanooga choo-choo ，那里实际只是坐一个trolley 参观
早期的火车，车站。当天只有两个family，四个小朋友。天很热很热。儿子急的很，上
了trolley才高兴起来。 trolley可以双向行驶，座位也可以转向过来（这个trolley 是往前走
一段再
折回来），conductor穿着制服（夏天就是白衬衫了）戴着帽子一路给大家讲解，当时
怎么也想不起来电视里的节目名字(dinasaur train)，不然儿子会更兴奋。trolley开
得非常非常慢，全速估计也就几分钟，也是为了能讲解完吧，有半个多小时的样子。往
回走的一段，每过路口，小朋友可以拉车上的绳子，“铃铛”就响了，儿子学习了拉完

To OP:
The trail you mentioned might be Bald River Falls trail. It is in Tellico,
close to sweet water.
The fall is beautiful, but the trail is so so. you may just hike the first
mile.
The easy trails for you are: Laura falls, Abrams falls, Andrews bald.
If you like beautiful view, you may try Charlies bunion, or any trail to Mt.

因为falcon head地税低，特意去一个开发区看了一下。sales 说全卖光了，也推荐去
bee cave.
后来去附近的galleria 逛了一圈，只有pei wei算中餐吧，里面还挺火的，全是老美。
有一个whole food马上要开业了。

募計劃。本那比一間搵工服務組織Cave Employmnet Resource Centre明日將舉辦招聘
會，稱規模是10年來最大的一次。
目前已經確定參加招聘會的僱主，包括Accenture、Burnaby Board of Trade、Canada
Safeway、Canada Border Services Agency、CIBC、Douglas College、PNE、
Vancouver Fire and Rescue等20多家機構，估計將至少吸引1000人參加。
舉辦此次招聘會的Cave Employment Resource Centre是由聯邦政府資助，針對15至30
歲年輕人的服務機構。經理布雷克(Tim Blake)表示，近期經濟不如預期，但還是有相

game for Lin. The Lakers let Lin play more of his game when he came in after
5 minutes in the first (either that or he just did it) and it looked
perfectly fluid with Kobe out there. We ran a lot more mix of high screens
