刚刚从CBR拿$500off的过程贡献给大家。
CBR目前只有$250off的promotion。但是他很愿意match别人的offer。familycord最近
寄给我一个$500的coupon，我也不知道familycord为什么会给我寄。我就打电话给骚扰
我很多次的CBR的agent，看他能不能match。他叫我把coupon scan了email给他，然后
咨询了他的上司，说可以在CBR的价格上，match$500，而不愿意match familycord的最
终价格。我觉得不错就从了。
我也和Viacord打听了一下，他们好像现在还有$400的discount给加州。但是他们不会
match$500的familycord的coupon。同时他们也不会返还医生收集脐带血的费用。这点
CBR就比他们好很多。 |

一周以前收到CBR的邮件，说从今年开始长成150。
代理说，虽然我当时是说18年每年125，但是你的合同里没有说lock the rate. 我没有
办法。

打电话过去，那边就开始踢皮球。manager解决的办法是你再签18年的合同 年费150，

关于存脐带血，我也做了一些工作，把我知道的信息跟大家分享一下吧：
现在大家主要存的是脐带血，这个只能用于以后相关的血液疾病。由于脐带血的量很少
，就现在的科技而言，它的量只够用在小于4岁的孩子。
由于这个原因，我之前在由于要不要就把脐带血捐给public cord banking. 两个原因
让我最终没有选择public banking: 1) 签了合同以后，你对cord blood的使用就没有
任何控制权了。如果量不够，他们会被送去实验室，如果量够又合条件，cord blood就
会被加到registry list, 任何有需要的人都可以access （我之前以为只有捐过的人才

hard for other incoming moms to get this one if it is the first time to bank
with CBR. The friend of mine who is working in CBR just told me that $300
is the maximum discount they can give usually. They do have some special

program.如果我们refer 另外一家也作core blood banking, 我们两家各省掉第一年的
storage fee是$150. 如果被referred的那家是做core blood and tissue banking, 那

We used CBR to store our newborn's cord blood. However when
I got the certificate it said that the total volume received
is only 35cc and total nucleated cell count is 120 million.
I read from other website that average volume is 103cc and
cell count 890 million. To treat diseases you need 30 million
cells per kg of body weight. That means our collection is
only good for 4 kg body. BTW public banks has a minimum requirement
of 60cc and 600 million cells. I really don' |
