congrats on the cervelo and kuota!
here are some unsolicited suggestions:
you might want to get some light wheels to go with the roadie, something
like neuvation or williams.
I'd also replace the seatpost and saddle.

The guy who posted that comment is most likely someone who works for a "name
brand" company. Who would otherwise regularly visit those factories,
scrutinize their management, and bash the ISO9002 process?
Bottom line is, as far as for all the people racing on these no name frames
(myself included, pedalforce), I have yet to see a single post about such a
no-name frame cracking during race.
On the contrary, I personally know a guy who has cracked two Cervelo frames,
and he is not a racer.

就我目前在 bikeforum 等地方看到的,还没有伤亡报道。现在很多人
以给这种车贴牌为生,还有人骑着它去比赛。(我自己是会骑 P1 上阵)
再者,我们的力量远不到可以把车架逼到近 spec 极限的程度(我可不是
Thor,力量那么大还敢骑 cervelo 的 prototype).
最后,近十年只有一人在 Tour 下坡时车子坏掉摔残了,他的名字是
Joseba Beloki, 他骑的是 Giant TCR composite.

我个人认为有牌车里面性能+价格+个性最好的仍是 Cervelo. 上 S2/S3 吧。
btw, 我在台湾看到的 Pinarello 比在美国还多。台巴子钱多人傻。

conflict! If you are talking about knock off, which one of the current aero
bikes is not in a way a knock off of cervelo?

the stamped ring is not as durable, is more flexible under strong pedal
force, and doesn't shift as well as more precisely made and stiffer rings,
especially under load. I use 105 rings on my motobecane (with an ultegra
crank) though because I love the 50/39 rings (for cheap too). I think the
difference is more psych than practical. I just don't like them because they
are not high quality.
on the other hand, I have salsa rings on my MASI. they don't shift as well,
but I love them, beautifully ma

frameset 还是整车? 整车 $1200 太不可思议了。全新的山寨 frameset + ultegra +
wheelset + 零零碎碎 $1200 也很难拿下。
frameset $1200 我宁可去搞 Cervelo.

frameset. I haven't seen a $1200 cervelo. But a $1600 new R3 you mentioned
last time is a good buy also, I think. It all boils down to one's budget. I
am still pretty happy with my $275 le champion sl frameset.

在一些细节上他和 Cervelo RS 还是不同的,如 seatstay 的分叉。不过我昨天
ride 半路上去看了很多台 RS,觉得这两台除掉细节,headtube 处实在不是普通像。

还有一问题:这线的 stiffness 显然比钢线小,所以像 Cervelo 这种
internal cable routing 是不是会装得很痛苦?

54cm tt with 74 st angle is exactly the same frame as 55cm tt with 73 st
angle. the only difference is the first allows you to seat more forward and
the later allows you to sit back a bit. and normally the first one is marked
as a smaller size with a shorter head tube. you should read this if you
really want to understand this.

我没用过fens,不过想来比同配置105的trek和specialized便宜这么多,估计肯定得有
些部件上配的差一些。总的来说,性价比还是可以的。
实际上,我觉得架子和轮子是不是stiff还是挺重要的,我试过一次cervelo S1的铝架
,个人感觉比我自己trek 1系列的铝架要更stiff,同样是铝架,感觉差别还是挺明显
的。saddle也很重要,geometry不好的saddle骑起来就是折磨啊。

There you go. The regular carbon version is priced at US$1100, and HM
carbon version at $1700. Will do US$770/1100 for the Cycling Board (ID
registered before end of 2011). Regular version is around 1150g, HM version
around 900-950g. My Proto 1 was 893g.
Would be nice to get 5+ frames to make shipping more economical.
The idea is simple, China is known of making cheap crap and copying European
ideas. Any attempt to improve that image is basically fighting against the

在湖边骑了这么久,第一次见到这么好的车,logo太醒目了。
那娃胖乎乎的,一会儿超过了我,我心里一颤,哇,好高级啊。
心里有点失落,小弟的车是300刀从BD上买来的,人家丫的一个frame就3k多刀。
然后,眼看这娃慢慢远去,我心想不如超他一把。
于是,我动力来了,兹阿兹,全力加速,终于超了这家伙一把。
然后有放慢速度了。
这娃估计面子挂不住,然后拼了老命超了我。
哈哈哈。完了。

For that price, you can get a Cervelo P1 Ultegra, wind-tunnel tested, tried
and true. Several years ago the same frame was used in world-class TT's and
was pretty much the reference frame.

在网上补了点课,今天去了我老板推荐的一家本地车店,我老板的劳工是多次铁人,每
年都参加全铁。他的车全是在这家买的,这家店在Yelp上好评如潮,所以就摸去了。
他家没有很多牌子,比如根本没有任何fuji,cannondale,cervelo,specialized等牌
子,只有四个牌子:Bianchi,Look,James,KHS。下午一共试骑了四辆车,分别是
James和Bianchi,分别有carbon,alumni和steel frame的不同型号,我目前比较喜欢
如下两款,当然都超出了我的预算(奶奶的,真实很难控制诱惑!!)
两款标准基本一样,是全carbon frame,都是Shimano ultegra

It won’t take much of your time when physically building it up, but it do
take some times in research, study, know the specs, price, read the reviews
, etc. You have to have some bike specific tools to do that too. I have Park
tool AK-37 tool kit so basicly except headset overhaul or wheel building/
major truing, I can comfortably do anything on my bikes. And also when
custom build a bike you can choose the parts you like instead of the stocks
